[43:36] | Waman yaAAshu AAan thikri alrrahmaninuqayyid lahu shaytanan fahuwa lahu qareenun
|  ومن يعش عن ذكر الرحمن نقيض له شيطانا فهو له قرين
وَمَن يَعْشُ عَن ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَانًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ |
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يعش - turns away| عن - from| ذكر - (the) remembrance| الرحمن - (of) the Most Gracious,| نقيض - We appoint| له - for him| شيطانا - a devil,| فهو - then he| له - (is) to him| قرين - a companion.| |

| ከአልረሕማን ግሣጼ (ከቁርኣን) የሚደናበርም ሰው ለእርሱ ሰይጣንን እናስጠጋለን፡፡ ስለዚህ እርሱ ለእርሱ ቁራኛ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن يعش } يعرض { عن ذكر الرحمن } أي القرآن { نقيض } نسبب { له شيطاناً فهو له قرين } لا يفارقه . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে ব্যক্তি দয়াময় আল্লাহর স্মরণ থেকে চোখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, আমি তার জন্যে এক শয়তান নিয়োজিত করে দেই, অতঃপর সে-ই হয় তার সঙ্গী। |
| Literal | And who ignores about the merciful's reminder, We predestine/lead/assign for him a devil, so he is for him a companion/friend . |
| Yusuf Ali | If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of (Allah) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him. |
