بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [42:48] | Fa-in aAAradoo fama arsalnakaAAalayhim hafeethan in AAalayka illaalbalaghu wa-inna itha athaqnaal-insana minna rahmatan fariha bihawa-in tusibhum sayyi-atun bima qaddamat aydeehimfa-inna al-insana kafoorun
| فإن أعرضوا فما أرسلناك عليهم حفيظا إن عليك إلا البلاغ وإنا إذا أذقنا الإنسان منا رحمة فرح بها وإن تصبهم سيئة بما قدمت أيديهم فإن الإنسان كفور فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ وَإِنَّا إِذَا أَذَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ كَفُورٌ |
Words | |فإن - Then if| أعرضوا - they turn away,| فما - then not| أرسلناك - We have sent you| عليهم - over them| حفيظا - (as) a guardian.| إن - Not| عليك - (is) on you| إلا - except| البلاغ - the conveyance.| وإنا - And indeed,| إذا - when| أذقنا - We cause to taste| الإنسان - [the] man| منا - from Us| رحمة - Mercy,| فرح - he rejoices| بها - in it.| وإن - But if| تصبهم - befalls them| سيئة - evil,| بما - for what| قدمت - have sent forth| أيديهم - their hands| فإن - then indeed,| الإنسان - [the] man| كفور - (is) ungrateful.| |

| ቢዞሩም (ወቀሳ የለብህም)፡፡ በእነርሱ ላይ ጠባቂ አድርገን አልላክንህምና፡፡ ባንተ ላይ ማድረስ እንጅ ሌላ የለብህም፡፡ እኛም ሰውን ከእኛ የኾነን ጸጋ ባቀመስነው ጊዜ በርሷ ይደሰታል፡፡ እጆቻቸው ባስቀደሙትም ኀጢአት ምክንያት መከራ ብትደርስባቸው (ተስፋ ይቆርጣሉ)፡፡ ሰው (ውለታን) በጣም ከሐዲ ነውና፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { فإن أعرضوا } عن الإجابة { فما أرسلناك عليهم حفيظاً } تحفظ أعمالهم بأن توافق المطلوب منهم { إن } ما { عليك إلا البلاغ } وهذا قبل الأمر بالجهاد { وإنا إذا أذقنا الإنسان منا رحمة } نعمة كالغنى والصحة { فرح وإن تصبهم } الضمير فلإنسان باعتبار الجنس { سيئة } بلاء { بما قدمت أيديهم } أي قدموه وعبر بالأيدي لأن أكثر الأفعال تزاول بها { فإن الإنسان كفور } للنعمة . |
| Ma numren, ur k id Nuzen ara d amêareb nnsen. Ay fellak, siwa timenna. Ih, mara Nesêess i umdan aêunu s$uône£, ad ifôeê yis. Mara t tsami tucmip, id bbwin ifassen is, s tidep, amdan ad ikaraâ. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে আপনাকে আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি যখন মানুষকে আমার রহমত আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে উল্লসিত, আর যখন তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে তাদের কোন অনিষ্ট ঘটে, তখন মানুষ খুব অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে যায়। |
Literal | So if they objected/opposed , so We did not send you on (to) them (as) a protector/guard , that truly on you (is nothing) except the information/communication, and We (E) if We made the human/mankind taste/experience mercy from Us, he became happy/rejoiced with it, and if a sin/crime strikes/marks them with because (of) what their hands advanced , so then the human/mankind (is an insistent) disbeliever. |
Yusuf Ali | If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful! |
Pickthal | But if they are averse, We have not sent thee as a warder over them. Thine is only to convey (the message). And lo! when We cause man to taste of mercy from Us he exulteth therefor. And if some evil striketh them because of that which their own hands have sent before, then lo! man is an ingrate. |
Arberry | But if they turn away, We sent thee not to be a guardian over them. It is for thee only to deliver the Message. And when We let man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices in it; but if some evil befalls him for that his own hands have forwarded, then surely man is unthankful. |
Shakir | But if they turn aside, We have not sent you as a watcher over them; on you is only to deliver (the message); and surely when We make man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices thereat; and if an evil afflicts them on account of what their hands have already done, then-surely man is ungrateful. |
Sarwar | (Muhammad), if they turn away from your message, know that We have not sent you as their keeper. Your duty is only to deliver the message. When We grant mercy to the human being, he becomes joyous, but when he is afflicted by evil as a result of his own deeds, he proves to be ungrateful. |

Malik | Now if they give no heed, they should know that We have not sent you, O Muhammad, to be their keeper. Your only duty is to convey My message. Man is such that when We give him a taste of Our Mercy, he is very happy about it; but when, through his own fault, an evil afflicts him, he becomes utterly ungrateful."[48] |
Maulana Ali** | But if they turn away, We have not sent thee as a watcher over them. Thy duty is only to deliver (the message). And surely when We make man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices thereat; and if an evil afflicts them on account of what their hands have sent before, then surely man is ungrateful. |

Na mataan! a Skami na igira a piyakataam Ami so manosiya sa phoon Rkami a limo, na izonor iyan oto; na o masogat siran a marata, sabap ko miniona o manga lima iran (a dosa), na mataan! a so manosiya na da a tadm iyan! |
Ahmed Raza Khan | تو اگر وہ منہ پھیریں تو ہم نے تمہیں ان پر نگہبان بناکر نہیں بھیجا تم پر تو نہیں مگر پہنچادینا اور جب ہم آدمی کو اپنی طرف سے کسی رحمت کا مزہ دیتے ہیں اور اس پر خوش ہوجاتا ہے اور اگر انہیں کوئی برائی پہنچے بدلہ اس کا جو ان کے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیجا تو انسان بڑا ناشکرا ہے |

Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | پھر اگر یہ منہ پھیر لیں تو ہم نے تم کو ان پر نگہبان بنا کر نہیں بھیجا۔ تمہارا کام تو صرف (احکام کا) پہنچا دینا ہے۔ اور جب ہم انسان کو اپنی رحمت کا مزہ چکھاتے ہیں تو اس سے خوش ہوجاتا ہے۔ اور اگر ان کو ان ہی کے اعمال کے سبب کوئی سختی پہنچتی ہے تو (سب احسانوں کو بھول جاتے ہیں) بےشک انسان بڑا ناشکرا ہے |
Mehmood Al Hassan | پھر اگر وہ منہ پھیریں تو تجھ کو نہیں بھیجا ہم نے ان پر نگہبان تیرا ذمہ تو بس یہی ہے پہنچا دینا اور ہم جب چکھاتے ہیں آدمی کو اپنی طرف سے رحمت اس پر پھولا نہیں سماتا اور اگر پہنچتی ہے انکو کچھ برائی بدلے میں اپنی کمائی کے تو انسان بڑا ناشکرا ہے |
Abul Ala Maududi | اب اگر یہ لوگ منہ موڑتے ہیں تو اے نبیؐ، ہم نے تم کو ان پر نگہبان بنا کر تو نہیں بھیجا ہے تم پر تو صرف بات پہنچا دینے کی ذمہ داری ہے انسان کا حال یہ ہے کہ جب ہم اسے اپنی رحمت کا مزا چکھاتے ہیں تو اُس پر پھول جاتا ہے، اور اگر اس کے اپنے ہاتھوں کا کیا دھرا کسی مصیبت کی شکل میں اُس پر الٹ پڑتا ہے تو سخت ناشکرا بن جاتا ہے |
Ahmed Ali | پھر بھی اگر نہ مانیں تو ہم نے آپ کو ان پر محافظ بنا کرنہیں بھیجا ہے آپ پر تو صرف پہنچا دینا ہے اور جب ہم انسان کو اپنی کوئی رحمت چکھاتے ہیں تو اس سے خوش ہوجاتا ہے اور اگر اس پر اس کے اعمال سے اس سے کوئی مصیبت پڑ جاتی ہے تو انسان بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے |
