| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[40:18] | Waanthirhum yawma al-azifati ithialquloobu lada alhanajiri kathimeenama lilththalimeena min hameeminwala shafeeAAin yutaAAu
|  وأنذرهم يوم الآزفة إذ القلوب لدى الحناجر كاظمين ما للظالمين من حميم ولا شفيع يطاع
وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْآزِفَةِ إِذِ الْقُلُوبُ لَدَى الْحَنَاجِرِ كَاظِمِينَ مَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ يُطَاعُ |
| Words | |وأنذرهم - And warn them| يوم - (of the) Day| الآزفة - the Approaching,| إذ - when| القلوب - the hearts| لدى - (are) at| الحناجر - the throats,| كاظمين - choked.| ما - Not| للظالمين - for the wrongdoers| من - any| حميم - intimate friend| ولا - and no| شفيع - intercessor| يطاع - (who) is obeyed.| |

| ቅርቢቱንም (የትንሣኤን) ቀን ልቦች ጭንቀትን የተመሉ ኾነው ላንቃዎች ዘንድ የሚደርሱበትን ጊዜ አስጠንቅቃቸው፡፡ ለበዳዮች ምንም ወዳጅና ተሰሚ አማላጅ የላቸውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ( وأنذرهم يوم الآزفة ) يوم القيامة من أزف الرحيل : قرب ( إذ القلوب ) ترتفع خوفا ( لدى ) عند ( الحناجر كاظمين ) ممتلئين غما حال من القلوب عوملت بالجمع بالياء والنون معاملة أصحابها ( ما للظالمين من حميم ) محب ( ولا شفيع يطاع ) لا مفهوم للوصف إذ لا شفيع لهم أصلا "" فما لنا من شافعين "" أوله مفهوم بناء على زعمهم أن لهم شفعاء ، أي لو شفعوا فرضا لم يقبلوا . |
| Nabi ten af ass aqôib, ideg ulawen ad rewlen s igerjumen, ad qebôen. Ur ippilli i imednas, uêbib ne$ amcafaâ, iwumi ara ssemêessen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনি তাদেরকে আসন্ন দিন সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করুন, যখন প্রাণ কন্ঠাগত হবে, দম বন্ধ হওয়ার উপক্রম হবে। পাপিষ্ঠদের জন্যে কোন বন্ধু নেই এবং সুপারিশকারীও নেই; যার সুপারিশ গ্রাহ্য হবে। |
| Literal | And warn/give notice (of) the Resurrection Day when the hearts/minds (are) at/by the larynxes/voice boxes (throats), holding/suppressing (themselves), (there is) no concerned (relative/friend), and nor a mediator (to) be obeyed to the unjust/oppressive. |
| Yusuf Ali | Warn them of the Day that is (ever) drawing near, when the hearts will (come) right up to the throats to choke (them); No intimate friend nor intercessor will the wrong-doers have, who could be listened to. |
