| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:31] | In tajtaniboo kaba-ira matunhawna AAanhu nukaffir AAankum sayyi-atikum wanudkhilkummudkhalan kareeman
|  إن تجتنبوا كبائر ما تنهون عنه نكفر عنكم سيئاتكم وندخلكم مدخلا كريما
إِن تَجْتَنِبُواْ كَبَآئِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُم مُّدْخَلاً كَرِيمًا |

| ከእርሱ ከተከለከላችሁት ታላላቆቹን (ኀጢአቶች) ብትርቁ (ትናንሾቹን) ኀጢአቶቻችሁን ከእናንተ እናብሳለን፡፡ የተከበረንም ስፍራ (ገነትን) እናገባችኋለን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن تجتنبوا كبائر ما تنهون عنه } وهي ما ورد عليها وعيد كالقتال والزنا والسرقة وعن ابن عباس هي إلى السبعمائة أقرب { نكفِّر عنكم سيِّئاتكم } الصغائر بالطاعات { وندخلكم مُدخلا } بضم الميم وفتحها أي إدخالا أو موضعا { كريما } هو الجنة . |
| Ma tjunbem ayen meqqwôen, seg wayen i wen ipwakksen, a Nessuref i tucmitin nnwen, a kwen Nessekcem anekcum ukyis. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যেগুলো সম্পর্কে তোমাদের নিষেধ করা হয়েছে যদি তোমরা সেসব বড় গোনাহ গুলো থেকে বেঁচে থাকতে পার। তবে আমি তোমাদের ক্রটি-বিচ্যুতিগুলো ক্ষমা করে দেব এবং সম্মান জনক স্থানে তোমাদের প্রবেশ করার। |
| Literal | If you avoid/distance your selves (from) big crimes/sins that you are being forbidden/prevented from it, We substitute from you, your sins/crimes and We make you enter an honoured an entrance. |
| Yusuf Ali | If ye (but) eschew the most heinous of the things which ye are forbidden to do, We shall expel out of you all the evil in you, and admit you to a gate of great honour. |
| Pickthal | If ye avoid the great (things) which ye are forbidden, We will remit from you your evil deeds and make you enter at a noble gate. |
| Arberry | If you avoid the heinous sins that are forbidden you, We will acquit you of your evil deeds, and admit you by the gate of honour. |
