بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [37:35] | Innahum kanoo itha qeela lahumla ilaha illa Allahu yastakbiroona
| إنهم كانوا إذا قيل لهم لا إله إلا الله يستكبرون إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ |
Words | |إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were,| إذا - when| قيل - it was said| لهم - to them,| لا - "(There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| الله - Allah,"| يستكبرون - were arrogant| |

| እነርሱ ከአላህ ሌላ አምላክ የለም በተባሉ ጊዜ ይኮሩ ነበሩ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { إنهم } أي هؤلاء بقرينة ما بعده { كانوا إذا قيل لهم لا إله إلا الله يستكبرون } . |
| Ih, nitni, mara asen inin: "ur illi ôebbi siwa Öebbi", ssem$waôen iman nnsen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের যখন বলা হত, আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য েনই, তখন তারা ঔদ্ধত্য প্রদর্শন করত। |
Literal | That they truly were if (it) was said to them: "No God except god" they be arrogant. |
