| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[37:143] | Falawla annahu kana minaalmusabbiheena
|  فلولا أنه كان من المسبحين
فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ |
| Words | |فلولا - And if not| أنه - that he| كان - was| من - of| المسبحين - those who glorify| |

| እርሱ ለጌታው ከአወዳሾቹ ባልሆነም ኖሮ፤ |
| آل الجلالين | ( فلولا أنه كان من المسبحين ) الذاكرين بقوله كثيرا في بطن الحوت "" لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين "" . |
| Lemmer ur illi, neppa, seg wid isbuccuâen, |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি তিনি আল্লাহর তসবীহ পাঠ না করতেন, |
| Literal | So had it not been for that he (was) from the praising/glorifying. |
| Yusuf Ali | Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, |
| Pickthal | And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) |
