| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[36:37] | Waayatun lahumu allaylu naslakhuminhu alnnahara fa-itha hum muthlimoona
|  وآية لهم الليل نسلخ منه النهار فإذا هم مظلمون
وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ |
| Words | |وآية - And a Sign| لهم - for them| الليل - (is) the night.| نسلخ - We withdraw| منه - from it| النهار - the day.| فإذا - Then behold!| هم - They| مظلمون - (are) those in darkness.| |

| ሌሊቱም ለእነርሱ ምልክት ነው፡፡ ከእርሱ ላይ ቀንን እንገፍፋለን፡፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ በጨለማ ውስጥ ይገባሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وآية لهم } على القدرة العظيمة { الليل نسلخ } نفصل { منه النهار فإذا هم مظلمون } داخلون في الظلام . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের জন্যে এক নিদর্শন রাত্রি, আমি তা থেকে দিনকে অপসারিত করি, তখনই তারা অন্ধকারে থেকে যায়। |
| Literal | And an evidence/sign for them (is) the night, We skin off/uncover from it the daytime, so then they are darkened/in darkness. |
