[3:67] | Ma kana ibraheemuyahoodiyyan wala nasraniyyan walakinkana haneefan musliman wama kana minaalmushrikeena
|  ما كان إبراهيم يهوديا ولا نصرانيا ولكن كان حنيفا مسلما وما كان من المشركين
مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلاَ نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَكِن كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُّسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ |
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - was| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| يهوديا - a Jew| ولا - and not| نصرانيا - a Christian| ولكن - [and] but| كان - he was| حنيفا - a true| مسلما - Muslim,| وما - and not| كان - he was| من - from| المشركين - the polytheists.| |
