1 [3:14] | Zuyyina lilnnasi hubbualshshahawati mina alnnisa-i waalbaneenawaalqanateeri almuqantarati mina alththahabiwaalfiddati waalkhayli almusawwamati waal-anAAamiwaalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayatialddunya waAllahu AAindahu husnualmaabi
| زين للناس حب الشهوات من النساء والبنين والقناطير المقنطرة من الذهب والفضة والخيل المسومة والأنعام والحرث ذلك متاع الحياة الدنيا والله عنده حسن المآب زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ذَلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ |

| ከሴቶች፣ ከወንዶች ልጆችም፣ ከወርቅና ከብር፣ ከተካመቹ ገንዘቦችም፣ ከተሰማሩ ፈረሶችም፣ ከግመል ከከብትና ከፍየልም፣ ከአዝመራም የኾኑ ፍላጎቶችን መውደድ ለሰዎች ተሸለመ፡፡ ይህ ሁሉ የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መጠቀሚያ ነው፡፡ አላህም እርሱ ዘንድ መልካም መመለሻ (ገነት) አለ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { زُيَّن للناس حبُّ الشهوات } ما تشتهيه النفس وتدعوا إليه زينها الله ابتلاءً أو الشيطانُ { من النساء والبنين والقناطير } الأموال الكثيرة { المقنطرة } المجمعة { من الذهب والفضة والخيل المسومة } الحسان { والأنعام } أي الإبل والبقر والغنم { والحرث } الزرع { ذلك } المذكور { متاع الحياة الدنيا } يتمتع به فيها ثم يفنى { والله عنده حسن المآب } المرجع وهو الجنة فينبغي الرغبة فيه دون غيره . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মানবকূলকে মোহগ্রস্ত করেছে নারী, সন্তান-সন্ততি, রাশিকৃত স্বর্ণ-রৌপ্য, চিহ্নিত অশ্ব, গবাদি পশুরাজি এবং ক্ষেত-খামারের মত আকর্ষণীয় বস্তুসামগ্রী। এসবই হচ্ছে পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ্য বস্তু। আল্লাহর নিকটই হলো উত্তম আশ্রয়। |
Literal | (It) was decorated/beautified to the people the lusts'/desires'/cravings' love/like from the women, and the sons and daughters , and the vaulted tons from the gold and the silver, and the identified/distinguished (from) the horses , and the camels/livestock , and the agricultural land/plants that (is) the present life's/worldly life's enjoyment and God, at Him good/beautiful (is) the return. |
Yusuf Ali | Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world's life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (To return to). |
Pickthal | Beautified for mankind is love of the joys (that come) from women and offspring; and stored-up heaps of gold and silver, and horses branded (with their mark), and cattle and land. That is comfort of the life of the world. Allah! With Him is a more excellent abode. |
