[3:111] | Lan yadurrookum illa athanwa-in yuqatilookum yuwallookumu al-adbara thumma layunsaroona
|  لن يضروكم إلا أذى وإن يقاتلوكم يولوكم الأدبار ثم لا ينصرون
لَن يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلاَّ أَذًى وَإِن يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لاَ يُنصَرُونَ |
| Words | |لن - Never| يضروكم - will they harm you| إلا - except| أذى - a hurt.| وإن - And if| يقاتلوكم - they fight you,| يولوكم - they will turn (towards) you| الأدبار - the backs,| ثم - then| لا - not| ينصرون - they will be helped.| |

| ማስከፋትን እንጅ ፈጽሞ አይጎዱዋችሁም፡፡ ቢዋጉዋችሁም ጀርባዎችን ያዙሩላችኋል (ይሸሻሉ)፡፡ ከዚያም አይረዱም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لن يضروكم } أي اليهود يا معشر المسلمين بشيء { إلا أذًى } باللسان من سبِّ ووعيد { وإن يقاتلوكم يولوكم الأدبار } منهزمين { ثم لا ينصرون } عليكم بل لكم النصر عليهم . |
| Cwiî kan ara kwen vuôôen. Ma nnu$en kwen, ad rewlen, sinna, ur sâun amâiwen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যৎসামান্য কষ্ট দেয়া ছাড়া তারা তোমাদের কোনই ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। আর যদি তারা তোমাদের সাথে লড়াই করে, তাহলে তারা পশ্চাদপসরণ করবে। অতঃপর তাদের সাহায্য করা হবে না। |
| Literal | They never harm you , except mild harm, and if they fight you, they turn away (from) you, (giving you) the backs/ends, then they do not be given victory. |
| Yusuf Ali | They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; if they come out to fight you, they will show you their backs, and no help shall they get. |
| Pickthal | They will not harm you save a trifling hurt, and if they fight against you they will turn and flee. And afterward they will not be helped. |
