| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:59] | Fabaddala allatheena thalamooqawlan ghayra allathee qeela lahum faanzalna AAalaallatheena thalamoo rijzan mina alssama-ibima kanoo yafsuqoona
|  فبدل الذين ظلموا قولا غير الذي قيل لهم فأنزلنا على الذين ظلموا رجزا من السماء بما كانوا يفسقون
فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ قَوْلاً غَيْرَ الَّذِي قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنْـزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رِجْزاً مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ |

| እነዚያም የበደሉት ሰዎች ከዚያ ለነሱ ከተባሉት ሌላ ቃልን ለወጡ፡፡ በነዚያም በበደሉት ላይ ያመጹ በመሆናቸው ምክንያት መቅሠፍትን አወረድንባቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فبدل الذين ظلموا } منهم { قولا غير الذي قيل لهم } فقالوا : حبة في شعرة ودخلوا يزحفون على أستاههم { فأنزلنا على الذين ظلموا } فيه وضع الظاهر موضع المضمر مبالغة في تقبيح شأنهم { رجزاً } عذاباً طاعوناً { من السماء بما كانوا يفسقون } بسب فسقهم أي خروجهم عن الطاعة فهلك منهم في ساعة سبعون ألفاً أو أقل . |
| Wid idensen bedlen awal, ur d win i sen nnan. Nessers ed, i wid idensen, tawa$it seg igenni, ilmend n tucmitin nnsen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর যালেমরা কথা পাল্টে দিয়েছে, যা কিছু তাদেরকে বলে দেয়া হয়েছিল তা থেকে। তারপর আমি অবতীর্ণ করেছি যালেমদের উপর আযাব, আসমান থেকে, নির্দেশ লংঘন করার কারণে। |
| Literal | Those who caused injustice/oppression , so (they) exchanged/replaced a saying other than what was said to them, so We descended on those who caused injustice/oppression, filth/torture from the sky/space with what they were debauching . |
| Yusuf Ali | But the transgressors changed the word from that which had been given them; so We sent on the transgressors a plague from heaven, for that they infringed (Our command) repeatedly. |
| Pickthal | But those who did wrong changed the word which had been told them for another saying, and We sent down upon the evil-doers wrath from heaven for their evil-doing. |
