[2:250] | Walamma barazoo lijalootawajunoodihi qaloo rabbana afrigh AAalayna sabranwathabbit aqdamana waonsurnaAAala alqawmi alkafireena
|  ولما برزوا لجالوت وجنوده قالوا ربنا أفرغ علينا صبرا وثبت أقدامنا وانصرنا على القوم الكافرين
وَلَمَّا بَرَزُواْ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ |
| Words | |ولما - And when| برزوا - they went forth| لجالوت - to (face) Jalut| وجنوده - and his troops| قالوا - they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| أفرغ - Pour| علينا - on us| صبرا - patience| وثبت - and make firm| أقدامنا - our feet,| وانصرنا - and help us| على - against| القوم - the people| الكافرين - (who are) disbelieving."| |

| ለጃሎትና ለሠራዊቱ በተሰለፉም ጊዜ፡- «ጌታችን ሆይ! በእኛ ላይ ትዕግስትን አንቧቧ፤ ጫማዎቻችንንም አደላድል፤ በከሓዲያን ሕዝቦችም ላይ እርዳን» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولما برزوا لجالوت وجنوده } أي ظهروا لقتالهم وتصافّوا { قالوا ربنا أفرغ } أصبب { علينا صبرا وثبت أقدامنا } بتقوية قلوبنا على الجهاد { وانصرنا على القوم الكافرين } . |
| Mi qublen Oalut akked lâaskeô is, nnan: "a Mass nne$! Azen a$ d ûûbeô, Tebbet isurifen nne$, Awes a$ mgal agdud ijehliyen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যখন তালূত ও তার সেনাবাহিনী শত্রুর সম্মুখীন হল, তখন বলল, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদের মনে ধৈর্য্য সৃষ্টি করে দাও এবং আমাদেরকে দৃঢ়পদ রাখ-আর আমাদের সাহায্য কর সে কাফের জাতির বিরুদ্ধে। |
| Literal | And when they emerged/appeared to Goliath and his soldiers/warriors, they said: "Our Lord, pour on us patience and make our feet firm , and give us victory/aid on (over) the nation, the disbelieving." |
