بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [2:212] | Zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo alhayatualddunya wayaskharoona mina allatheena amanoowaallatheena ittaqaw fawqahum yawma alqiyamatiwaAllahu yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin
| زين للذين كفروا الحياة الدنيا ويسخرون من الذين آمنوا والذين اتقوا فوقهم يوم القيامة والله يرزق من يشاء بغير حساب زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَاللّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ |
Words | |زين - Beautified| للذين - for those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| الحياة - (is) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ويسخرون - and they ridicule| من - [of]| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d].| والذين - And those who| اتقوا - fear (Allah),| فوقهم - (they will be) above them| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection.| والله - And Allah| يرزق - provides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| بغير - without| حساب - measure.| |

| ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ከእነዚያ ካመኑት የሚሳለቁ ሲኾኑ ቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ተሸለመችላችው፡፡ እነዚያም የተጠነቀቁት በትንሣኤ ቀን ከበላያቸው ናቸው፡፡ አላህም ለሚሻው ሰው ያለ ግምት ይሰጣል፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { زُيِّن للَّذين كفروا } من أهل مكة { الحياة الدنيا } بالتمويه فأحبوها { و } هم { يسخرون من الذين آمنوا } لفقرهم كبلال وعمَّار وصهيب أي يستهزءون بهم ويتعالوْن عليهم بالمال { والذين اتقوا } الشرك وهم هؤلاء { فوقهم يوم القيامة والله يرزق من يشاء بغير حساب } أي رزقا واسعا في الآخرة أو الدنيا بأن يملك المسخور منهم أموال الساخرين ورقابهم . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | পার্থিব জীবনের উপর কাফেরদিগকে উম্মত্ত করে দেয়া হয়েছে। আর তারা ঈমানদারদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করে হাসাহাসি করে। পক্ষান্তরে যারা পরহেযগার তারা সেই কাফেরদের তুলনায় কেয়ামতের দিন অত্যন্ত উচ্চমর্যাদায় থাকবে। আর আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সীমাহীন রুযী দান করেন। |
Literal | The life the present/worldly life was decorated/beautified to those who disbelieved, and they humiliate/mock from (about) those who believed, and those who feared and obeyed (are) over them (in) the Resurrection Day, and God provides for whom He wills/wants without counting/calculation. |
Yusuf Ali | The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will. |
Pickthal | Beautified is the life of the world for those who disbelieve; they make a jest of the believers. But those who keep their duty to Allah will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. Allah giveth without stint to whom He will. |
Arberry | Decked out fair to the unbelievers is the present life, and they deride the believers; but those who were godfearing shall be above them on the Resurrection Day; and God provides whomsoever He will without reckoning. |
Shakir | The life of this world is made to seem fair to those who disbelieve, and they mock those who believe, and those who guard (against evil) shall be above them on the day of resurrection; and Allah gives means of subsistence to whom he pleases without measure. |
Sarwar | The worldly life is made to seem attractive to the disbelievers who scoff at the faithful, but the pious, in the life hereafter, will have a position far above them. God grants sustenance (without account) to anyone He wants. |

Malik | The life of this world is charming to those who are unbelievers and they mock at those who believe, but they forget that those who fear Allah will rank above them on the Day of Resurrection; Allah gives sustenance without measure to whom He wants.[212] |
