بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wamin haythu kharajta fawalliwajhaka shatra almasjidi alharami wahaythuma kuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu li-allayakoona lilnnasi AAalaykum hujjatun illaallatheena thalamoo minhum falatakhshawhum waikhshawnee wali-otimma niAAmatee AAalaykumwalaAAallakum tahtadoona

ومن حيث خرجت فول وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيث ما كنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره لئلا يكون للناس عليكم حجة إلا الذين ظلموا منهم فلا تخشوهم واخشوني ولأتم نعمتي عليكم ولعلكم تهتدون
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ لِئَلاَّ يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنْهُمْ فَلاَ تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي وَلِأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

Words

ከየትም ከወጣህበት ስፍራ ፊትህን ወደ ተከለለው መስጊድ አግጣጫ አዙር፡፡ በየትም ስፍራ ብትኾኑ ለሰዎቹ እነዚያ ከነሱ የበደሉት ሲቀሩ (ሃይማኖታችንን ይክዳሉ ቂብላችንን ይከተላሉ በማለት) በናንተ ላይ መከራከሪያ እንዳይኖራቸው ፊቶቻችሁን ወደ አግጣጫው አዙሩ፡፡ አትፍሩዋቸውም፤ ፍሩኝም፤ (በዚህም ያዘዝኳችሁ መከራከሪያ እንዳይኖራቸው) በናንተም ላይ ጸጋየን እንድሞላላችሁና (ወደ እውነትም) እንድትመሩ ነው፡፡

آل الجلالين

{ ومن حيث خرجت فولِّ وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيثما كنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره } كرره للتأكيد { لئلا يكون للناس } اليهود أو المشركين { عليكم حجة } أي مجادلة في التولي إلى غيره أي لتنتفي مجادلتهم لكم من قول اليهود يجحد ديننا ويتبع قبلتنا وقول المشركين يدعي ملة إبراهيم ويخالف قبلته { إلا الذين ظلموا منهم } بالعناد فإنهم يقولون ما تحول إليها إلا ميلا إلى دين آبائه والاستثناء متصل والمعنى: لا يكون لأحد عليكم كلام إلا كلام هؤلاء { فلا تخشوهم } تخافوا جدالهم في التولي إليها { واخشوني } بامتثال أمري { ولأتم } عطف علي لئلا يكون { نعمتي عليكم } بالهداية إلى معالم دينكم { ولعلكم تهتدون } إلى الحق .

Ansi d tef$ev, zzi udem ik ar Loamaâ n Lêaôam. Anida tellam, zzit udmawen nnwen $uôes, iwakken ur kwen pnamaren imdanen, siwa wid idensen, segsen. Ur ten ppagwadet, agwadet iyI. Ad awen Time$ l$it iW, amar a ppepwanhum.

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

আর তোমরা যেখান থেকেই বেরিয়ে আস এবং যেখানেই অবস্থান কর, সেদিকেই মুখ ফেরাও, যাতে করে মানুষের জন্য তোমাদের সাথে ঝগড়া করার অবকাশ না থাকে। অবশ্য যারা অবিবেচক, তাদের কথা আলাদা। কাজেই তাদের আপত্তিতে ভীত হয়ো না। আমাকেই ভয় কর। যাতে আমি তোমাদের জন্যে আমার অনুগ্রহ সমূহ পূর্ণ করে দেই এবং তাতে যেন তোমরা সরলপথ প্রাপ্ত হও।

Literal

And from where you got out , so turn your face towards the Mosque the Forbidden/Sacred , and wherever you were, so turn your faces towards it, for that the people do not (have) on you aproof/argument except those who were unjust/oppressive from them. So do not fear them and fear Me .And to complete/ perfect My blessings on you, and maybe you (will) be guided.

Yusuf Ali

So from whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; and wheresoever ye are, Turn your face thither: that there be no ground of dispute against you among the people, except those of them that are bent on wickedness; so fear them not, but fear Me; and that I may complete My favours on you, and ye May (consent to) be guided;

Whencesoever thou comest forth turn thy face toward the Inviolable Place of Worship; and wheresoever ye may be (O Muslims) turn your faces toward it (when ye pray) so that men may have no argument against you, save such of them as do injustice - Fear them not, but fear Me! - and so that I may complete My grace upon you, and that ye may be guided.

From whatsoever place thou issuest, turn thy face towards the Holy Mosque; and wherever you may be, turn your faces towards it, that the people may not have any argument against you, excepting the evildoers of them; and fear you them not, but fear you Me; and that I may perfect My blessing upon you, and that haply so you may be guided;

Shakir

And from whatsoever place you come forth, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque; and wherever you are turn your faces towards it, so that people shall have no accusation against you, except such of them as are unjust; so do not fear them, and fear Me, that I may complete My favor on you and that you may walk on the right course.

Sarwar

We certainly saw you (Muhammad) often turn your face to the sky, so We shall instruct you to face a qibla that you will like. (Muhammad) during prayer, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah). Muslims, also, wherever you are, during your prayers, turn your faces towards the Sacred Mosque. The People of the Book certainly know that this command (to change the qibla) is truly from their Lord. God is not unaware of what they do.

Again, whatever place you come forth, turn your face during Salah towards the Sacred Mosque; and wherever you are, face towards it, so that people will not have any argument against you, except those among them who are wrongdoers. Do not fear them; fear Me, so that I may perfect My favors to you and that you may be rightly guided,[150]

Maulana Ali**

And from whatsoever place thou comest forth turn thy face towards the Sacred Mosque. And wherever you are turn your faces towards it, so that people may have no plea against you except such of them as are unjust -- so fear them not and fear Me -- and that I may complete My favour to you and that you may go aright.

Free Minds

And wherever you go out, you shall set yourself towards the Restricted Temple. And wherever you may be you shall set yourselves towards it; that the people will have no room for debate with you, except those of them who are wicked. You shall not fear them, but fear Me; so that I may complete My blessings upon you and that you may be guided.

From wherever you emerge, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you are, face towards it, so that the people will have no argument against you, except the harmdoers among them. Do not fear them, fear Me, so that I will perfect My Favor to you and that you will be guided.

Thus, the people will have no argument against you, except the transgressors among them. Do not fear them, and fear Me instead. I will then perfect My blessings upon you, that you may be guided.

Hilali/Khan**

And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah), and wheresoever you are, turn your faces towards, it (when you pray) so that men may have no argument against you except those of them that are wrong-doers, so fear them not, but fear Me! - And so that I may complete My Blessings on you and that you may be guided.

Again, regardless of where you are geographically and whichever way you are proceeding, you must keep in mind the Sacred Masjid as a symbol of the Divine Ideology, that is, unity of mankind. This will help the communities of believers around the world to coordinate their affairs. The opponents will, then, have no argument against you that you are not one in Purpose, except those who are bent on relegating the Ideals. Then, fear them not, but fear Me! So that I may perfect My Bliss upon you and that you may be guided to the Ultimate Success (5:3).

Mistä tuletkin, käännä kasvosi Rauhoitetun temppelin suuntaan, ja missä olettekin, muslimit, kääntäkää kasvonne sinne rukoillessanne, jottei muille ihmisille jäisi mitään sanomista teitä vastaan, paitsi sellaisille, jotka väärin tekevät. Mutta älkää pelätkö heitä, vaan pelätkää Minua ja tehkää tämä siksi, että Minä voisin saattaa suosioni teille täydelliseksi, jotta te pysyisitte oikealla tiellä.

Go apiya anda ka makasong, na phagadapn ka so paras ka ko tampar ko Masjid Al-Haram; go apiya anda kano matago, na phagadapn iyo so manga paras iyo ko katatamparan on: ka an da a khabaloy ko manga manosiya a karina iran rkano, inonta so siran a da kiran pamaginontolan; na di niyo siran khalkn, go Sakn i kalkn iyo; ka an Akn matarotop so limo Akn rkano, go ang kano matoro;

اور اے محبوب تم جہاں سے آ ؤ اپنا منہ مسجد حرام کی طرف کرو اور اے مسلمانو! تم جہاں کہیں ہو اپنا منہ اسی کی طرف کرو کہ لوگوں کو تم پر کوئی حجت نہ رہے مگر جو ان میں ناانصافی کریں تو ان سے نہ ڈرو اور مجھ سے ڈرو اور یہ اس لئے ہے کہ میں اپنی نعمت تم پر پوری کروں اور کسی طرح تم ہدایت پاؤ،

Shabbir Ahmed

اور جہاں سے بھی نکلو تم موڑو اپنا رُخ (نماز میں) مسجد الحرام کی طرف۔ اور جہاں کہیں بھی ہو تم تو موڑو اپنے رُخ اسی کی جانب تاکہ نہ رہے لوگوں کے پاس تمہارے خلاف کوئی حُجّت سوائے ان کے جو بے انصاف ہیں اس میں سے، سو نہ ڈرو تم ان سے بلکہ مجھ ہی سے ڈرو اور (مسجد الحرام کی طرف رُخ کرنا اس لیے ضروری ہے) تاکہ پورا کروں میں اپنا انعام تم پر اور (اس لیے بھی) تاکہ تم ہدایت پاؤ۔

Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary

اور تم جہاں سے نکلو، مسجدِ محترم کی طرف منہ (کرکے نماز پڑھا) کرو۔ اور مسلمانو، تم جہاں ہوا کرو، اسی (مسجد) کی طرف رخ کیا کرو۔ (یہ تاکید) اس لیے (کی گئی ہے) کہ لوگ تم کو کسی طرح کا الزام نہ دے سکیں۔ مگر ان میں سے جو ظالم ہیں، (وہ الزام دیں تو دیں) سو ان سے مت ڈرنا اور مجھی سے ڈرتے رہنا۔ اور یہ بھی مقصود ہے کہ تم کو اپنی تمام نعمتیں بخشوں اور یہ بھی کہ تم راہِ راست پر چلو

Mehmood Al Hassan

اور جہاں سے تو نکلے منہ کر اپنا مسجدالحرام کی طرف اور جس جگہ تم ہوا کرو منہ کرو اسی کی طرف تاکہ نہ رہے لوگوں کو تم سے جگھڑنے کا موقع مگر جو ان میں بے انصاف ہیں سو ان سے یعنی انکے اعتراضوں سے مت ڈرو اور مجھ سے ڈرو اور اس واسطے کہ کامل کروں ت

اور جہاں سے بھی تمہارا گزر ہو، اپنا رُخ مسجد حرام کی طرف پھیرا کرو، اور جہاں بھی تم ہو، اُسی کی طرف منہ کر کے نما ز پڑھو تاکہ لوگوں کو تمہارے خلاف کوئی حجت نہ ملے ہاں جو ظالم ہیں، اُن کی زبان کسی حال میں بند نہ ہوگی تو اُن سے تم نہ ڈرو، بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو اور اس لیے کہ میں تم پر اپنی نعمت پوری کر دوں اور اس توقع پر کہ میرے اس حکم کی پیروی سے تم اسی طرح فلاح کا راستہ پاؤ گے

Ahmed Ali

اور آپ جہاں کہیں سے نکلیں تو اپنا منہ مسجد حرام کی طرف کیا کریں اور تم بھی جہاں کہیں ہو تو اپنا منہ ا س کی طرف کیاکر و تاکہ لوگوں کو تم پر کوئی الزام نہ رہے مگر ان میں سے جو ہٹ دھرم ہیں تم بھی ان سے نہ ڈرو اور ہم سے ڈرتے رہا کرو اور تاکہ میں اپنی نعمت تم پر پوری کروں اورتاکہ تم راہ پاؤ
