بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [2:146] | Allatheena ataynahumualkitaba yaAArifoonahu kama yaAArifoona abnaahumwa-inna fareeqan minhum layaktumoona alhaqqa wahumyaAAlamoona
| الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعرفونه كما يعرفون أبناءهم وإن فريقا منهم ليكتمون الحق وهم يعلمون الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقاً مِّنْهُمْ لَيَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ |
Words | |الذين - (To) those whom| آتيناهم - We gave [them]| الكتاب - the Book,| يعرفونه - they recognize it| كما - like| يعرفون - they recognize| أبناءهم - their sons.| وإن - And indeed,| فريقا - a group| منهم - of them| ليكتمون - surely they conceal| الحق - the Truth| وهم - while they| يعلمون - know.| |

| እነዚያ መጽሐፍን የሰጠናቸው ወንዶች ልጆቻቸውን እንደሚያውቁ (ሙሐመድን) ያውቁታል፡፡ ከነሱም የተለዩ ክፍሎች እነርሱ የሚያወቁ ሲኾኑ እውነቱን በእርግጥ ይደብቃሉ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعرفونه } أي محمداً { كما يعرفون أبناءهم } بنعته في كتبهم قال ابن سلام : لقد عرفته حين رأيته كما أعرف ابني ومعرفتي لمحمد أشد { وإن فريقا منهم ليكتمون الحق } نعته { وهم يعلمون } هذا الذي أنت عليه . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি যাদেরকে কিতাব দান করেছি, তারা তাকে চেনে, যেমন করে চেনে নিজেদের পুত্রদেরকে। আর নিশ্চয়ই তাদের একটি সম্প্রদায় জেনে শুনে সত্যকে গোপন করে। |
Literal | Those whom We gave them The Book they know it, as they know their sons, and that a group from them hide/conceal (E) the truth and they are knowing. |
Yusuf Ali | The people of the Book know this as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know. |
