| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:132] | Wawassa biha ibraheemubaneehi wayaAAqoobu ya baniyya inna Allaha istafalakumu alddeena fala tamootunna illa waantummuslimoona
|  ووصى بها إبراهيم بنيه ويعقوب يا بني إن الله اصطفى لكم الدين فلا تموتن إلا وأنتم مسلمون
وَوَصَّى بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللّهَ اصْطَفَى لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلاَ تَمُوتُنَّ إَلاَّ وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ |
| Words | |ووصى - And enjoined| بها - [it]| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| بنيه - (upon) his sons| ويعقوب - and Yaqub,| يا - O| بني - "O my sons!| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| اصطفى - has chosen| لكم - for you| الدين - the religion,| فلا - so not| تموتن - (should) you die| إلا - except| وأنتم - while you| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| |

| በርሷም (በሕግጋቲቱ) ኢብራሂም ልጆቹን አዘዘ፡፡ ያዕቁብም (እንደዚሁ ልጆቹን አዘዘ)፡፡ «ልጆቼ ሆይ! አላህ ለናንተ ሃይማኖትን መረጠ፤ ስለዚህ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ኾናችሁ እንጂ አትሙቱ» (አላቸው)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ووصَّى } وفي قراءة أوصى { بها } بالملة { إبراهيم بنيه ويعقوب } بنيه قال: { يا بني إن الله اصطفى لكم الدين } دين الإسلام { فلا تموتنَّ إلا وأنتم مسلمون } نهى عن ترك الإسلام وأمر بالثبات عليه إلى مصادفة الموت . |
| Iweûûa yis Ibôahim arraw is - akken Iaâqub -: "a yarraw iw, Öebbi, s tidep, Ifren awen ddin, ur ppemmtet siwa ma tunzem". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এরই ওছিয়ত করেছে ইব্রাহীম তার সন্তানদের এবং ইয়াকুবও যে, হে আমার সন্তানগণ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য এ ধর্মকে মনোনীত করেছেন। কাজেই তোমরা মুসলমান না হয়ে কখনও মৃত্যুবরণ করো না। |
| Literal | And Abraham directed/commanded with it his sons and daughters , and Jacob: "You my sons and daughters, that God chose/purified for you the religion, so do not die (E) except and you are submitters/surrenderers/Moslems ." |
| Yusuf Ali | And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; "Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam." |
