بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [16:71] | WaAllahu faddala baAAdakumAAala baAAdin fee alrrizqi fama allatheenafuddiloo biraddee rizqihim AAala mamalakat aymanuhum fahum feehi sawaon afabiniAAmatiAllahi yajhadoona
| والله فضل بعضكم على بعض في الرزق فما الذين فضلوا برادي رزقهم على ما ملكت أيمانهم فهم فيه سواء أفبنعمة الله يجحدون وَاللّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ فِي الْرِّزْقِ فَمَا الَّذِينَ فُضِّلُواْ بِرَآدِّي رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَى مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ اللّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ |
Words | |والله - And Allah| فضل - has favored| بعضكم - some of you| على - over| بعض - others| في - in| الرزق - [the] provision.| فما - But not| الذين - those who| فضلوا - were favored| برادي - would hand over| رزقهم - their provision| على - to| ما - whom| ملكت - possess| أيمانهم - their right hands,| فهم - so (that) they| فيه - (are) in it| سواء - equal.| أفبنعمة - Then is it the Favor| الله - of Allah| يجحدون - they reject?| |

| አላህም ከፊላችሁን በከፊሉ ላይ በሲሳይ አበለጠ፡፡ እነዚያም በላጭ የተደረጉት ሲሳያቸውን እጆቻቸው በያዙዋቸው (ባሮች) ላይ እነሱ በእርሱ ይተካከሉ ዘንድ መላሾች አይደሉም፡፡ ታዲያ በአላህ ጸጋ (ለእርሱ ተጋሪ በማድረግ) ይክዳሉን |
آل الجلالين | { والله فضل بعضكم على بعض في الرزق } فمنكم غني وفقير ومالك ومملوك { فما الذين فضلوا } أي الموالي { برادي رزقهم على ما ملكت أيمانهم } أي بجاعلي ما رزقناهم من الأموال وغيرها شركة بينهم وبين مماليكهم { فهم } أي المماليك والموالي { فيه سواء } شركاء المعنى ليس لهم شركاء من مماليكهم في أموالهم فكيف يجعلون بعض مماليك الله شركاء له { أفبنعمة الله يجحدون } يكفرون حيث يجعلون له شركاء . |
| Öebbi Ismenyaf ad I$it kra i wiyav. Wid Ismenyaf, ur ilaq ara ad rren, ôôeéq nnsen, i waklan nnsen, d$a ad âadlen yidsen. Day ara nekôen l$it n Öebbi? |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ তা’আলা জীবনোপকরণে তোমাদের একজনকে অন্যজনের চাইতে শ্রেষ্টত্ব দিয়েছেন। অতএব যাদেরকে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দেয়া হয়েছে, তারা তাদের অধীনস্থ দাস-দাসীদেরকে স্বীয় জীবিকা থেকে এমন কিছু দেয় না, যাতে তারা এ বিষয়ে তাদের সমান হয়ে যাবে। তবে কি তারা আল্লাহর নেয়ামত অস্বীকার করে। |
Literal | And God preferred/favoured some of you over some in the provision , so those who were preferred/favoured are not with returning their provision on (to) what their rights/oaths owned/possessed, so they are in it equal/alike . So are they with Gods' blessing/goodness disbelieving and denying ? |
Yusuf Ali | Allah has bestowed His gifts of sustenance more freely on some of you than on others: those more favoured are not going to throw back their gifts to those whom their right hands possess, so as to be equal in that respect. Will they then deny the favours of Allah? |
Pickthal | And Allah hath favoured some of you above others in provision. Now those who are more favoured will by no means hand over their provision to those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in respect thereof. Is it then the grace of Allah that they deny? |
Arberry | And God has preferred some of you over others in provision;, but those that were preferred shall not give over their provision to that their right hands possess, so that they may be equal therein. What, and do they deny God's blessing? |
Shakir | And Allah has made some of you excel others in the means of subsistence, so those who are made to excel do not give away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess so that they should be equal therein; is it then the favor of Allah which they deny? |
Sarwar | God has made some of you richer than others. The rich ones do not have to give away their property to their slaves to make them equally rich. Do they reject the bounties of God? |
H/K/Saheeh | And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein. Then is it the favor of Allah they reject? |
Malik | Allah has made some of you excel in sustenance over the others; those who are so favored, do not give away their sustenance to their slaves so as to make them their equals. How can you think that Allah will allow other deities to be His equals? Would they refuse to acknowledge the favors of Allah?[71] |
Maulana Ali** | And Allah has made some of you excel others in the means of subsistence; so those who are made to excel give not away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal therein. Will they then deny the favor of Allah? |
Free Minds | And God has preferred some of you over others in provision. Those who have been preferred will not relinquish their provision to those who are still dependant, so they may become equal in it. Are they denying the favour of God? |
Qaribullah | In your provisions Allah has preferred some of you above others. But, those who have been preferred do not give their provisions to those whom their right hand possess so that they might be equal therein. What, do they vainly disbelieve the favor of Allah? |
George Sale | God causeth some of you to excel others in worldly possessions: Yet they who are caused to excel, do not give their wealth unto the slaves whom their right hands possess, that they may become equal sharers therein. Do they therefore deny the beneficence of God? |
JM Rodwell | And God hath abounded to some of you more than to others in the supplies of life; yet they to whom He hath abounded, impart not thereof to the slaves whom their right hands possess, so that they may share alike. What! will they deny, then, that these boons |

Khalifa** | GOD has provided for some of you more than others. Those who are given plenty would never give their properties to their subordinates to the extent of making them partners. Would they give up GOD's blessings? |

Then, those who are preferred will by no means hand over their wealth and properties to those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in respect thereof. Do they then deny the Favour of Allah? |
QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | And Allah has caused some of you to excel in earning livelihood over the others (43:32). And yet, they who are more abundantly provided are often unwilling to share their provision with those who work for them, lest all might be equal in this respect (70:24), (30:28). Will they continue to deny Allah's blessings in this manner? (16:53), (28:78), (39:49). |

| Na so Allah na inilbi Niyan so sabaad rkano ko sabaad sii ko riskhi: Na da ko siran a piyamakalbi i ba iran bgan so riskhi kiran ko mipapaar o manga tangan iran (a manga oripn), na siran na makaplagilagid siran on. Ba so limo o Allah i zangkaan iran? |
Ahmed Raza Khan | اور اللہ نے تم میں ایک دوسرے پر رزق میں بڑائی دی تو جنہیں بڑائی دی ہے وہ اپنا رزق اپنے باندی غلاموں کو نہ پھیر دیں گے کہ وہ سب اس میں برابر ہوجائیں تو کیا اللہ کی نعمت سے مکرتے ہیں، |

Abul Ala Maududi | اور دیکھو، اللہ نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر رزق میں فضیلت عطا کی ہے پھر جن لوگوں کو یہ فضیلت دی گئی ہے وہ ایسے نہیں ہیں کہ اپنا رزق اپنے غلاموں کی طرف پھیر دیا کرتے ہوں تاکہ دونوں اس رزق میں برابر کے حصہ دار بن جائیں تو کیا اللہ ہی کا احسان ماننے سے اِن لوگوں کو انکار ہے؟ |
