| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[15:78] | Wa-in kana as-habual-aykati lathalimeena
|  وإن كان أصحاب الأيكة لظالمين
وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ لَظَالِمِينَ |
| Words | |وإن - And were| كان - And were| أصحاب - (the) companions| الأيكة - (of) the wood| لظالمين - surely wrongdoers.| |

| እነሆ የአይከት ሰዎችም በእርግጥ በዳዮች ነበሩ፤ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن } مخففة أي إنه { كان أصحاب الأيكة } هي غيضة شجر بقرب مدين وهم قوم شعيب { لظالمين } بتكذيبهم شعيبا . |
| Ih, llan At Teégi, war ccekk, d imednas. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নিশ্চয় গহীন বনের অধিবাসীরা পাপী ছিল। |
| Literal | And if owners/company (of) the thicket/dense tangled trees were unjust/oppressive (E). |
| Yusuf Ali | And the Companions of the Wood were also wrong-doers; |
