[14:3] | Allatheena yastahibboona alhayataalddunya AAala al-akhirati wayasuddoonaAAan sabeeli Allahi wayabghoonaha AAiwajan ola-ikafee dalalin baAAeedin
|  الذين يستحبون الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة ويصدون عن سبيل الله ويبغونها عوجا أولئك في ضلال بعيد
الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا أُوْلَـئِكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ بَعِيدٍ |

| እነዚያ የቅርቢቱን ሕይወት ከመጨረሻይቱ ሕይወት ይበልጥ የሚወዱ ከአላህም መንገድ የሚያግዱ መጥመሟንም የሚፈልጉዋት ናቸው፡፡ እነዚያ በሩቅ ስሕተት ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { الذين } نعت { يستحبون } يختارون { الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة ويصدون } الناس { عن سبيل الله } دين الإسلام { ويبغونها } أي السبيل { عوجا } معوجة { أولئك في ضلال بعيد } عن الحق . |
| i ismenyafen tameddurt n ddunit wala laxeôt, i iswexxiôen seg ubrid n Öebbi, u ssaramen t d uâwij! Widak, atnan di ttelfan u$miq. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যারা পরকালের চাইতে পার্থিব জীবনকে পছন্দ করে; আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দান করে এবং তাতে বক্রতা অন্বেষণ করে, তারা পথ ভুলে দূরে পড়ে আছে। |
| Literal | Those who love/like (prefer) the life the present/worldly life over the end (other life), and they obstruct/prevent from God's way/path and they desire it (be) bent/crookedness , those are in distant/far misguidance. |
| Yusuf Ali | Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance. |
| Pickthal | Those who love the life of the world more than the Hereafter, and debar (men) from the way of Allah and would have it crooked: such are far astray. |
| Arberry | such as prefer the present life over the world to come, and bar from God's way, desiring to make it crooked -- they are in far error. |

| Malik | They are the ones who love the life of this world more than the hereafter, who debar others from the Way of Allah and seek to make it crooked: they have gone far astray into error.[3] |

| Free Minds | The ones who have preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter, and they repel away from the path of God, and they seek to make it crooked. Those are the ones who are in misguidance. |
