| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[12:11] | Qaloo ya abana malaka la ta/manna AAala yoosufa wa-innalahu lanasihoona
|  قالوا يا أبانا ما لك لا تأمنا على يوسف وإنا له لناصحون
قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مَا لَكَ لاَ تَأْمَنَّا عَلَى يُوسُفَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَنَاصِحُونَ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| ما - Why| لك - (do) you| لا - not| تأمنا - trust us| على - with| يوسف - Yusuf,| وإنا - while indeed, we| له - (are) for him| لناصحون - surely well-wishers?| |

| (እነሱም) አሉ «አባታችን ሆይ! በዩሱፍ ላይ ለምን አታምነንም እኛም ለእርሱ በእርግጥ አዛኞች ነን፡፡» |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বললঃ পিতাঃ ব্যাপার কি, আপনি ইউসুফের ব্যাপারে আমাদেরকে বিশ্বাস করেন না ? আমরা তো তার হিতাকাংখী। |
| Literal | They said: "You, our father, why for you (that) you do not trust/entrust us on Joseph, and that we (are) to him faithful/sincere (E)?" |
