| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:84] | Wa-ila madyana akhahumshuAAayban qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu wala tanqusooalmikyala waalmeezana innee arakumbikhayrin wa-innee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawminmuheetin
|  وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره ولا تنقصوا المكيال والميزان إني أراكم بخير وإني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم محيط
وَإِلَى مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ وَلاَ تَنقُصُواْ الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ إِنِّيَ أَرَاكُم بِخَيْرٍ وَإِنِّيَ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ مُّحِيطٍ |
| Words | |وإلى - And to| مدين - Madyan,| أخاهم - their brother| شعيبا - Shuaib.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah| ما - not| لكم - (is) for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| ولا - And (do) not| تنقصوا - decrease| المكيال - (from) the measure| والميزان - and the scale.| إني - Indeed, I| أراكم - see you| بخير - in prosperity,| وإني - but indeed, I| أخاف - fear| عليكم - for you| عذاب - punishment| يوم - (of) a Day| محيط - all-encompassing.| |

| ወደ መድየንም ወንድማቸውን ሹዐይብን (ላክን)፡፡ አላቸው «ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ! አላህን ተገዙ፡፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ለናንተ አምላክ የላችሁም፡፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም አታጉድሉ፤ እኔ በጸጋ ላይ ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ፡፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ የከባቢን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { و } أرسلنا { إلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله } وَحّدوه { ما لكم من إله غيره ولا تنقصوا المكيال والميزان إني أراكم بخير } نعمة تغنيكم عن التطفيف { وإني أخاف عليكم } إن لم تؤمنوا { عذاب يوم محيط } بكم يهلككم ووصف اليوم به مجاز لوقوعه فيها . |
| I Madian, gmat sen Cuâayeb, inna: "a yagdud iw! Âabdet Öebbi! Ur tesâim ôebbi, war Neppa. Ur ssenqaset di lkil akked lmizan. Nek, wala$ kwen teôwam, u ugade$ fellawen aâaqeb, ass itezzin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর মাদইয়ানবাসীদের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) কে প্রেরণ করেছি। তিনি বললেন-হে আমার কওম! আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ছাড়া আমাদের কোন মাবুদ নাই। আর পরিমাপে ও ওজনে কম দিও না, আজ আমি তোমাদেরকে ভাল অবস্থায়ই দেখছি, কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের উপর এমন একদিনের আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি যেদিনটি পরিবেষ্টনকারী। |
| Literal | And to Madyan/Madya (We sent) their brother Shu'aib, he said: "You (my) nation, worship God (there is) not for you from a God other than Him, and do not reduce/decrease the measuring/weighing device , and the scale/weight , that I see/understand you with goodness , and that I, I fear on you a surrounding's/encircling's day's torture." |
| Yusuf Ali | To the Madyan People (We sent) Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship Allah: Ye have no other god but Him. And give not short measure or weight: I see you in prosperity, but I fear for you the penalty of a day that will compass (you) all round. |
| Pickthal | And unto Midian (We sent) their brother Shu'eyb. He said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him! And give not short measure and short weight. Lo! I see you well-to-do, and lo! I fear for you the doom of a besetting Day. |

Minä kyllä näen teidän hyvinvointinne, ja minä totisesti pelkään, että suuren päivän tuomio kohtaa teidät. |
| Go (siyogo Ami ko) pagtaw a Madyan so pagari ran a Shoayb. Pitharo iyan: "Hay pagtaw akn, simbaa niyo so Allah: Ka da a tohan iyo a salakaw Rkaniyan. Go di kano phangorang ko kapagasad, go so kathimbang: Mataan! a sakn na pkhaylay akn skano ko mapiya (a kawiyagan), go mataan! a sakn na ikhalk akn skano ko siksa ko alongan a makatangkal." |
