| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[10:100] | Wama kana linafsin an tu/minailla bi-ithni Allahi wayajAAalu alrrijsaAAala allatheena la yaAAqiloona
|  وما كان لنفس أن تؤمن إلا بإذن الله ويجعل الرجس على الذين لا يعقلون
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تُؤْمِنَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَيَجْعَلُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| لنفس - for a soul| أن - to| تؤمن - believe| إلا - except| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ويجعل - And He will place| الرجس - the wrath| على - on| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يعقلون - use reason.| |

| ለማንኛዋም ነፍስ በአላህ ፈቃድ ቢሆን እንጂ ልታምን (ችሎታ) የላትም፡፡ (አላህ ለከፊሎቹ እምነትን ይሻል)፡፡ በእነዚያም በማያውቁት ላይ ርክሰትን ያደርጋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما كان لنفس أن تؤمن إلا بإذن الله } بإرادته { ويجعل الرجس } العذاب { على الذين لا يعقلون } يتدبرون آيات الله . |
| Ur ippamen umdan siwa ma Irad Öebbi. Isdullu wid ur nfehhem ara. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর কারো ঈমান আনা হতে পারে না, যতক্ষণ না আল্লাহর হুকুম হয়। পক্ষান্তরে তিনি অপবিত্রতা আরোপ করেন যারা বুদ্ধি প্রয়োগ করে না তাদের উপর। |
| Literal | And (it) was not to a self that she/it believes except with God's permission, and He makes/puts the142obscenity/filth on those who do not reason/understand/comprehend. |
