| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[10:42] | Waminhum man yastamiAAoona ilayka afaantatusmiAAu alssumma walaw kanoo layaAAqiloona
|  ومنهم من يستمعون إليك أفأنت تسمع الصم ولو كانوا لا يعقلون
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ |
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| من - (are some) who| يستمعون - listen| إليك - to you.| أفأنت - But (can) you| تسمع - cause the deaf to hear| الصم - cause the deaf to hear| ولو - even though| كانوا - they [were]| لا - (do) not| يعقلون - use reason?| |

| ከእነሱም ወደ አንተ የሚያዳምጡ (እና የማያምኑ) አልሉ፡፡ አንተ ደንቆሮዎችን የማያውቁ ቢኾኑም ታሰማለህን |
| آل الجلالين | { ومنهم من يستمعون إليك } إذا قرأت القرآن { أ فأنت تُسمع الصم } شبههم بهم في عدم الانتفاع بما يتلى عليهم { ولو كانوا } مع الصمم { لا يعقلون } يتدبرون . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের কেউ কেউ কান রাখে তোমাদের প্রতি; তুমি বধিরদেরকে কি শোনাবে যদি তাদের বিবেক-বুদ্ধি না থাকে! |
| Literal | And from them who listen/hear to you, so do you make the deaf hear/listen and (even) if they were not reasoning/understanding ? |
