| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[10:20] | Wayaqooloona lawla onzila AAalayhi ayatunmin rabbihi faqul innama alghaybu lillahi faintathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireena
|  ويقولون لولا أنزل عليه آية من ربه فقل إنما الغيب لله فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين
وَيَقُولُونَ لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا الْغَيْبُ لِلّهِ فَانْتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ |
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| لولا - "Why not| أنزل - is sent down| عليه - to him| آية - a Sign| من - from| ربه - his Lord?"| فقل - So say,| إنما - "Only| الغيب - the unseen| لله - (is) for Allah,| فانتظروا - so wait;| إني - indeed, I am| معكم - with you| من - among| المنتظرين - the ones who wait."| |

| በእርሱ ላይም ከጌታው የሆነች ተዓምር ለምን አትወረድለትም ይላሉ፡፡ «ሩቅ ነገርም ሁሉ የአላህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ተጠባበቁም፤ እኔ ከናንተ ጋር ከሚጠባበቁት ነኝና» በላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ويقولون } أي أهل مكة { لولا } هلا { أنزل عليه } على محمد { آية من ربه } كما كان للأنبياء من الناقة والعصا واليد { فقل } لهم { إنما الغيب } ما غاب عن العباد أي أمره { لله } ومنه الآيات فلا يأتي بها إلا هو وإنما عليَّ التبليغ { فانتظروا } العذاب إن لم تؤمنوا { إني معكم من المنتظرين } . |
| La qqaôen: "a lemmer id irs $uôes ussekni n Mass is"! Ini: "tabavnit ar Öebbi kan. Ihi, gganit. Nek, yidwen, seg wid iggunin". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | বস্তুতঃ তারা বলে, তাঁর কাছে তাঁর পরওয়ারদেগারের পক্ষ থেকে কোন নির্দেশ এল না কেন? বলে দাও গায়েবের কথা আল্লাহই জানেন। আমি ও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষায় রইলাম। |
| Literal | And they say: "If only an evidence/sign was descended on him from his Lord." So say: "But the absent/supernatural (is) to God so wait , that I am with you from the waiting . |
| Yusuf Ali | They say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "The Unseen is only for Allah (to know), then wait ye: I too will wait with you." |
