| 1 [2:96] | Walatajidannahum ahrasa alnnasiAAala hayatin wamina allatheenaashrakoo yawaddu ahaduhum law yuAAammaru alfa sanatin wamahuwa bimuzahzihihi mina alAAathabi anyuAAammara waAllahu baseerun bimayaAAmaloona |  ولتجدنهم أحرص الناس على حياة ومن الذين أشركوا يود أحدهم لو يعمر ألف سنة وما هو بمزحزحه من العذاب أن يعمر والله بصير بما يعملونوَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَى حَيَاةٍ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ أَنْ يُّعَمَّرَ وَاللّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولتجدنهم - And surely you will find them| أحرص - (the) most greedy| الناس - (of) [the] mankind| على - for| حياة - life,| ومن - and (greedier) than| الذين - those who| أشركوا - associate[d] partners (with Allah).| يود - Loves| أحدهم - (each) one of them| لو - if| يعمر - he could be granted a life| ألف - (of) a thousand| سنة - year(s).| وما - But not| هو - it| بمزحزحه - (will) remove him| من - from| العذاب - the punishment| أن - that| يعمر - he should be granted life.| والله - And Allah| بصير - (is) All-Seer| بما - of what| يعملون - they do.| | ||||||
| 2 [9:18] | Innama yaAAmuru masajida Allahiman amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiriwaaqama alssalata waataalzzakata walam yakhsha illa AllahafaAAasa ola-ika an yakoonoo mina almuhtadeena | إنما يعمر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة ولم يخش إلا الله فعسى أولئك أن يكونوا من المهتدين إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ فَعَسَى أُوْلَـئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| يعمر - will maintain| مساجد - (the) masajid of Allah| الله - (the) masajid of Allah| من - (the one) who| آمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,| وأقام - and establishes| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتى - and gives| الزكاة - the zakah| ولم - and not| يخش - fear| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| فعسى - Then perhaps| أولئك - those,| أن - [that]| يكونوا - they are| من - of| المهتدين - the guided ones.| | ||||||
| 3 [35:11] | WaAllahu khalaqakum min turabinthumma min nutfatin thumma jaAAalakum azwajan wamatahmilu min ontha wala tadaAAu illabiAAilmihi wama yuAAammaru min muAAammarin walayunqasu min AAumurihi illa fee kitabin inna thalikaAAala Allahi yaseerun | والله خلقكم من تراب ثم من نطفة ثم جعلكم أزواجا وما تحمل من أنثى ولا تضع إلا بعلمه وما يعمر من معمر ولا ينقص من عمره إلا في كتاب إن ذلك على الله يسير وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنثَى وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِن مُّعَمَّرٍ وَلَا يُنقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| خلقكم - created you| من - from| تراب - dust,| ثم - then| من - from| نطفة - a semen-drop;| ثم - then| جعلكم - He made you| أزواجا - pairs.| وما - And not| تحمل - conceives| من - any| أنثى - female| ولا - and not| تضع - gives birth| إلا - except| بعلمه - with His knowledge.| وما - And not| يعمر - is granted life| من - any| معمر - aged person| ولا - and not| ينقص - is lessened| من - from| عمره - his life| إلا - but| في - (is) in| كتاب - a Register.| إن - Indeed,| ذلك - that| على - for| الله - Allah| يسير - (is) easy.| | ||||||
