| 1 [5:14] | Wamina allatheena qaloo innanasara akhathna meethaqahumfanasoo haththan mimma thukkiroobihi faaghrayna baynahumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaaila yawmi alqiyamati wasawfa yunabbi-ohumu Allahubima kanoo yasnaAAoona |  ومن الذين قالوا إنا نصارى أخذنا ميثاقهم فنسوا حظا مما ذكروا به فأغرينا بينهم العداوة والبغضاء إلى يوم القيامة وسوف ينبئهم الله بما كانوا يصنعونوَمِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَهُمْ فَنَسُواْ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللّهُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| الذين - those who| قالوا - said,| إنا - Indeed we| نصارى - (are) Christians,"| أخذنا - We took| ميثاقهم - their covenant;| فنسوا - but they forgot| حظا - a part| مما - of what| ذكروا - they were reminded| به - of [it].| فأغرينا - So We aroused| بينهم - between them| العداوة - [the] enmity| والبغضاء - and [the] hatred| إلى - till| يوم - (the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection.| وسوف - And soon| ينبئهم - will inform them| الله - Allah| بما - of what| كانوا - they used to| يصنعون - do.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:63] | Lawla yanhahumu alrrabbaniyyoonawaal-ahbaru AAan qawlihimu al-ithmawaaklihimu alssuhta labi/sa ma kanooyasnaAAoona | لولا ينهاهم الربانيون والأحبار عن قولهم الإثم وأكلهم السحت لبئس ما كانوا يصنعون لَوْلاَ يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ عَن قَوْلِهِمُ الْإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لولا - Why (do) not| ينهاهم - forbid them,| الربانيون - the Rabbis| والأحبار - and the religious scholars| عن - from| قولهم - their saying| الإثم - the sinful| وأكلهم - and their eating| السحت - (of) the forbidden?| لبئس - Surely, evil| ما - (is) what| كانوا - they used to| يصنعون - do.| | ||||||
| 3 [16:112] | Wadaraba Allahu mathalanqaryatan kanat aminatan mutma-innatanya/teeha rizquha raghadan min kulli makaninfakafarat bi-anAAumi Allahi faathaqaha Allahulibasa aljooAAi waalkhawfi bima kanooyasnaAAoona | وضرب الله مثلا قرية كانت آمنة مطمئنة يأتيها رزقها رغدا من كل مكان فكفرت بأنعم الله فأذاقها الله لباس الجوع والخوف بما كانوا يصنعون وَضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُّطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وضرب - And Allah sets forth| الله - And Allah sets forth| مثلا - a similitude| قرية - (of) a town| كانت - (that) was| آمنة - secure| مطمئنة - and content,| يأتيها - coming to it| رزقها - its provision| رغدا - (in) abundance| من - from| كل - every| مكان - place,| فكفرت - but it denied| بأنعم - (the) Favors of Allah,| الله - (the) Favors of Allah,| فأذاقها - so Allah made it taste| الله - so Allah made it taste| لباس - (the) garb| الجوع - (of) the hunger| والخوف - and the fear| بما - for what| كانوا - they used (to)| يصنعون - do.| | ||||||
| 4 [24:30] | Qul lilmu/mineena yaghuddoo min absarihumwayahfathoo furoojahum thalika azkalahum inna Allaha khabeerun bima yasnaAAoona | قل للمؤمنين يغضوا من أبصارهم ويحفظوا فروجهم ذلك أزكى لهم إن الله خبير بما يصنعون قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَلِكَ أَزْكَى لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say| للمؤمنين - to the believing men| يغضوا - they should lower| من - their gaze| أبصارهم - their gaze| ويحفظوا - and they should guard| فروجهم - their chastity.| ذلك - That| أزكى - (is) purer| لهم - for them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| خبير - (is) All-Aware| بما - of what| يصنعون - they do.| | ||||||
| 5 [35:8] | Afaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi faraahuhasanan fa-inna Allaha yudillu man yashaowayahdee man yashao fala tathhab nafsukaAAalayhim hasaratin inna Allaha AAaleemunbima yasnaAAoona | أفمن زين له سوء عمله فرآه حسنا فإن الله يضل من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء فلا تذهب نفسك عليهم حسرات إن الله عليم بما يصنعون أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Then is (he) who -| زين - is made fair-seeming| له - to him| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deed -| فرآه - so that he sees it| حسنا - (as) good?| فإن - For indeed,| الله - Allah| يضل - lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| فلا - So (let) not| تذهب - go out| نفسك - your soul| عليهم - for them| حسرات - (in) regrets.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| يصنعون - they do.| | ||||||
