| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[46:17] | Waallathee qala liwalidayhioffin lakuma ataAAidaninee an okhraja waqad khalatialquroonu min qablee wahuma yastagheethani Allahawaylaka amin inna waAAda Allahi haqqunfayaqoolu ma hatha illa asateerual-awwaleena
|  والذي قال لوالديه أف لكما أتعدانني أن أخرج وقد خلت القرون من قبلي وهما يستغيثان الله ويلك آمن إن وعد الله حق فيقول ما هذا إلا أساطير الأولين
وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ |
| Words | |والذي - But the one who| قال - says| لوالديه - to his parents,| أف - "Uff| لكما - to both of you!| أتعدانني - Do you promise me| أن - that| أخرج - I will be brought forth,| وقد - and have already passed away| خلت - and have already passed away| القرون - the generations| من - before me?"| قبلي - before me?"| وهما - And they both| يستغيثان - seek help| الله - (of) Allah.| ويلك - "Woe to you!| آمن - Believe!| إن - Indeed,| وعد - (the) Promise| الله - (of) Allah| حق - (is) true."| فيقول - But he says,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| أساطير - (the) stories| الأولين - (of) the former (people)."| |
