| 1 [12:109] | Wama arsalna min qablika illarijalan noohee ilayhim min ahli alquraafalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihimwaladaru al-akhirati khayrun lillatheenaittaqaw afala taAAqiloona |  وما أرسلنا من قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم من أهل القرى أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم ولدار الآخرة خير للذين اتقوا أفلا تعقلونوَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| من - before you,| قبلك - before you,| إلا - but| رجالا - men| نوحي - We revealed| إليهم - to them| من - from (among)| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the townships.| أفلم - So have not| يسيروا - they traveled| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فينظروا - and seen| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before them?| قبلهم - (were) before them?| ولدار - And surely the home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| خير - (is) best| للذين - for those who| اتقوا - fear Allah.| أفلا - Then will not| تعقلون - you use reason?| | ||||||
| 2 [16:30] | Waqeela lillatheena ittaqaw mathaanzala rabbukum qaloo khayran lillatheena ahsanoofee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waladarual-akhirati khayrun walaniAAma daru almuttaqeena | وقيل للذين اتقوا ماذا أنزل ربكم قالوا خيرا للذين أحسنوا في هذه الدنيا حسنة ولدار الآخرة خير ولنعم دار المتقين وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْاْ مَاذَا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُواْ خَيْرًا لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقيل - And it will be said| للذين - to those who| اتقوا - fear Allah,| ماذا - "What| أنزل - has your Lord sent down?"| ربكم - has your Lord sent down?"| قالوا - They will say,| خيرا - "Good."| للذين - For those who| أحسنوا - do good| في - in| هذه - this| الدنيا - world| حسنة - (is) a good,| ولدار - and the home| الآخرة - of the Hereafter| خير - (is) better.| ولنعم - And surely excellent| دار - (is) the home| المتقين - (of) the righteous.| | ||||||
