| 1 [2:125] | Wa-ith jaAAalna albayta mathabatanlilnnasi waamnan waittakhithoo minmaqami ibraheema musallan waAAahidnaila ibraheema wa-ismaAAeela an tahhirabaytiya liltta-ifeena waalAAakifeenawaalrrukkaAAi alssujoodi |  وإذ جعلنا البيت مثابة للناس وأمنا واتخذوا من مقام إبراهيم مصلى وعهدنا إلى إبراهيم وإسماعيل أن طهرا بيتي للطائفين والعاكفين والركع السجودوَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْناً وَاتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| جعلنا - We made| البيت - the House| مثابة - a place of return| للناس - for mankind| وأمنا - and (a place of) security| واتخذوا - and (said), "Take| من - [from]| مقام - (the) standing place| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| مصلى - (as) a place of prayer."| وعهدنا - And We made a covenant| إلى - with| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| أن - [that],| طهرا - "[You both] purify| بيتي - My House| للطائفين - for those who circumambulate| والعاكفين - and those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer| والركع - and those who bow down| السجود - and those who prostrate."| | ||||||
| 2 [3:97] | Feehi ayatun bayyinatunmaqamu ibraheema waman dakhalahu kana aminanwalillahi AAala alnnasi hijjualbayti mani istataAAa ilayhi sabeelan waman kafarafa-inna Allaha ghaniyyun AAani alAAalameena | فيه آيات بينات مقام إبراهيم ومن دخله كان آمنا ولله على الناس حج البيت من استطاع إليه سبيلا ومن كفر فإن الله غني عن العالمين فِيهِ آيَاتٌ بَيِّـنَاتٌ مَّقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَن دَخَلَهُ كَانَ آمِنًا وَلِلّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلاً وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ الله غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فيه - In it| آيات - (are) signs| بينات - clear,| مقام - standing place| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| ومن - and whoever| دخله - enters it -| كان - is| آمنا - safe.| ولله - And (due) to Allah| على - upon| الناس - the mankind| حج - (is) pilgrimage| البيت - (of) the House| من - (for one) who| استطاع - is able| إليه - to [it]| سبيلا - (find) a way.| ومن - And whoever| كفر - disbelieved| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| غني - (is) free from need| عن - of| العالمين - the universe.| | ||||||
| 3 [33:13] | Wa-ith qalat ta-ifatunminhum ya ahla yathriba la muqama lakum fairjiAAoowayasta/thinu fareequn minhumu alnnabiyyayaqooloona inna buyootana AAawratun wama hiyabiAAawratin in yureedoona illa firaran | وإذ قالت طائفة منهم يا أهل يثرب لا مقام لكم فارجعوا ويستأذن فريق منهم النبي يقولون إن بيوتنا عورة وما هي بعورة إن يريدون إلا فرارا وَإِذْ قَالَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَا أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ فَارْجِعُوا وَيَسْتَأْذِنُ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمُ النَّبِيَّ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بُيُوتَنَا عَوْرَةٌ وَمَا هِيَ بِعَوْرَةٍ إِن يُرِيدُونَ إِلَّا فِرَارًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| طائفة - a party| منهم - of them,| يا - O| أهل - "O People| يثرب - (of) Yathrib!| لا - No| مقام - stand| لكم - for you,| فارجعوا - so return."| ويستأذن - And asked permission| فريق - a group| منهم - of them| النبي - (from) the Prophet,| يقولون - saying,| إن - "Indeed,| بيوتنا - our houses| عورة - (are) exposed,"| وما - and not| هي - they| بعورة - (were) exposed.| إن - Not| يريدون - they wished| إلا - but| فرارا - to flee.| | ||||||
| 4 [37:164] | Wama minna illa lahumaqamun maAAloomun | وما منا إلا له مقام معلوم وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقَامٌ مَّعْلُومٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - "And not| منا - among us| إلا - except| له - for him| مقام - (is) a position| معلوم - known.| | ||||||
| 5 [44:51] | Inna almuttaqeena fee maqamin ameenin | إن المتقين في مقام أمين إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| المتقين - the righteous| في - (will be) in| مقام - a place| أمين - secure,| | ||||||
| 6 [55:46] | Waliman khafa maqama rabbihijannatani | ولمن خاف مقام ربه جنتان وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ | |||||
| Words | |ولمن - But for (him) who| خاف - fears| مقام - (the) standing| ربه - (before) his Lord| جنتان - (are) two gardens.| | ||||||
| 7 [79:40] | Waama man khafa maqamarabbihi wanaha alnnafsa AAani alhawa | وأما من خاف مقام ربه ونهى النفس عن الهوى وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَى | |||||
| Words | |وأما - But as for| من - (him) who| خاف - feared| مقام - standing| ربه - (before) his Lord,| ونهى - and restrained| النفس - his soul| عن - from| الهوى - the vain desires,| | ||||||
