| 1 [16:22] | Ilahukum ilahun wahidunfaallatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhiratiquloobuhum munkiratun wahum mustakbiroona |  إلهكم إله واحد فالذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة قلوبهم منكرة وهم مستكبرونإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَالَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٌ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إلهكم - Your god| إله - (is) God| واحد - One.| فالذين - But those who| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter,| قلوبهم - their hearts| منكرة - refuse,| وهم - and they| مستكبرون - (are) arrogant.| | ||||||
| 2 [63:5] | Wa-itha qeela lahum taAAalawyastaghfir lakum rasoolu Allahi lawwaw ruoosahumwaraaytahum yasuddoona wahum mustakbiroona | وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا يستغفر لكم رسول الله لووا رءوسهم ورأيتهم يصدون وهم مستكبرون وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُؤُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| تعالوا - "Come,| يستغفر - will ask forgiveness| لكم - for you| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah."| لووا - They turn aside| رءوسهم - their heads| ورأيتهم - and you see them| يصدون - turning away| وهم - while they| مستكبرون - (are) arrogant.| | ||||||
