| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[65:2] | Fa-itha balaghna ajalahunnafaamsikoohunna bimaAAroofin aw fariqoohunna bimaAAroofinwaashhidoo thaway AAadlin minkum waaqeemoo alshshahadatalillahi thalikum yooAAathu bihi man kanayu/minu biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiriwaman yattaqi Allaha yajAAal lahu makhrajan
|  فإذا بلغن أجلهن فأمسكوهن بمعروف أو فارقوهن بمعروف وأشهدوا ذوي عدل منكم وأقيموا الشهادة لله ذلكم يوعظ به من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا
فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ فَارِقُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَأَشْهِدُوا ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ وَأَقِيمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ لِلَّهِ ذَلِكُمْ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَن كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا |
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| بلغن - they have reached| أجلهن - their term,| فأمسكوهن - then retain them| بمعروف - with kindness| أو - or| فارقوهن - part with them| بمعروف - with kindness.| وأشهدوا - And take witness| ذوي - two men| عدل - just| منكم - among you| وأقيموا - and establish| الشهادة - the testimony| لله - for Allah.| ذلكم - That| يوعظ - is instructed,| به - with it,| من - whoever| كان - [is]| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last.| ومن - And whoever| يتق - fears| الله - Allah,| يجعل - He will make| له - for him| مخرجا - a way out,| |
