| 1 [8:33] | Wama kana AllahuliyuAAaththibahum waanta feehim wama kanaAllahu muAAaththibahum wahum yastaghfiroona |  وما كان الله ليعذبهم وأنت فيهم وما كان الله معذبهم وهم يستغفرونوَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - But not| كان - is| الله - (for) Allah| ليعذبهم - that He punishes them| وأنت - while you| فيهم - (are) among them,| وما - and not| كان - is| الله - Allah| معذبهم - the One Who punishes them| وهم - while they| يستغفرون - seek forgiveness.| | ||||||
| 2 [9:55] | Fala tuAAjibka amwaluhum walaawladuhum innama yureedu Allahu liyuAAaththibahumbiha fee alhayati alddunyawatazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona | فلا تعجبك أموالهم ولا أولادهم إنما يريد الله ليعذبهم بها في الحياة الدنيا وتزهق أنفسهم وهم كافرون فَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلا - So (let) not| تعجبك - impress you| أموالهم - their wealth| ولا - and not| أولادهم - their children.| إنما - Only| يريد - Allah intends| الله - Allah intends| ليعذبهم - to punish them| بها - with it| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| وتزهق - and should depart| أنفسهم - their souls| وهم - while they| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| | ||||||
