| 1 [7:188] | Qul la amliku linafsee nafAAan waladarran illa ma shaa Allahuwalaw kuntu aAAlamu alghayba laistakthartu mina alkhayriwama massaniya alssoo-o in ana illanatheerun wabasheerun liqawmin yu/minoona |  قل لا أملك لنفسي نفعا ولا ضرا إلا ما شاء الله ولو كنت أعلم الغيب لاستكثرت من الخير وما مسني السوء إن أنا إلا نذير وبشير لقوم يؤمنونقُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي نَفْعًا وَلاَ ضَرًّا إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللّهُ وَلَوْ كُنتُ أَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ لاَسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَمَا مَسَّنِيَ السُّوءُ إِنْ أَنَاْ إِلاَّ نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أملك - I have power| لنفسي - for myself| نفعا - (to) benefit| ولا - and no| ضرا - (power to) harm,| إلا - except| ما - what| شاء - wills| الله - Allah.| ولو - And if| كنت - I would| أعلم - know| الغيب - (of) the unseen| لاستكثرت - surely I could have multiplied| من - of| الخير - the good| وما - and not| مسني - (could) have touched me| السوء - the evil.| إن - Not| أنا - (am) I| إلا - except| نذير - a warner| وبشير - and a bearer of good tidings| لقوم - to a people| يؤمنون - who believe."| | ||||||
| 2 [10:49] | Qul la amliku linafsee darranwala nafAAan illa ma shaa Allahulikulli ommatin ajalun itha jaa ajaluhum falayasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona | قل لا أملك لنفسي ضرا ولا نفعا إلا ما شاء الله لكل أمة أجل إذا جاء أجلهم فلا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمون قُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَرًّا وَلاَ نَفْعًا إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللّهُ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أملك - I have power| لنفسي - for myself| ضرا - (for) any harm| ولا - and not| نفعا - (for) any profit| إلا - except| ما - what| شاء - Allah wills.| الله - Allah wills.| لكل - For every| أمة - nation| أجل - (is) a term.| إذا - When| جاء - comes| أجلهم - their term,| فلا - then not| يستأخرون - they remain behind| ساعة - an hour,| ولا - and not| يستقدمون - they can precede (it)."| | ||||||
| 3 [12:54] | Waqala almaliku i/toonee bihiastakhlishu linafsee falamma kallamahu qalainnaka alyawma ladayna makeenun ameenun | وقال الملك ائتوني به أستخلصه لنفسي فلما كلمه قال إنك اليوم لدينا مكين أمين وَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ ائْتُونِي بِهِ أَسْتَخْلِصْهُ لِنَفْسِي فَلَمَّا كَلَّمَهُ قَالَ إِنَّكَ الْيَوْمَ لَدَيْنَا مَكِينٌ أَمِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الملك - the king,| ائتوني - "Bring him to me;| به - "Bring him to me;| أستخلصه - I will select him| لنفسي - for myself."| فلما - Then when| كلمه - he spoke to him,| قال - he said,| إنك - "Indeed, you| اليوم - (are) today| لدينا - with us| مكين - firmly established| أمين - (and) trusted."| | ||||||
