| 1 [7:154] | Walamma sakata AAan moosaalghadabu akhatha al-alwaha wafee nuskhatihahudan warahmatun lillatheena hum lirabbihimyarhaboona |  ولما سكت عن موسى الغضب أخذ الألواح وفي نسختها هدى ورحمة للذين هم لربهم يرهبونوَلَمَّا سَكَتَ عَن مُّوسَى الْغَضَبُ أَخَذَ الْأَلْوَاحَ وَفِي نُسْخَتِهَا هُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِرَبِّهِمْ يَرْهَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| سكت - was calmed| عن - from| موسى - Musa| الغضب - the anger,| أخذ - he took (up)| الألواح - the tablets| وفي - and in| نسختها - their inscription| هدى - (was) guidance| ورحمة - and mercy| للذين - for those who| هم - [they]| لربهم - of their Lord| يرهبون - (are) fearful.| | ||||||
| 2 [13:18] | Lillatheena istajaboolirabbihimu alhusna waallatheena lamyastajeeboo lahu law anna lahum ma fee al-ardijameeAAan wamithlahu maAAahu laiftadaw bihi ola-ikalahum soo-o alhisabi wama/wahum jahannamuwabi/sa almihadu | للذين استجابوا لربهم الحسنى والذين لم يستجيبوا له لو أن لهم ما في الأرض جميعا ومثله معه لافتدوا به أولئك لهم سوء الحساب ومأواهم جهنم وبئس المهاد لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُواْ لِرَبِّهِمُ الْحُسْنَى وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُواْ لَهُ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لاَفْتَدَوْاْ بِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ الْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ | |||||
| Words | |للذين - For those who| استجابوا - responded| لربهم - to their Lord| الحسنى - (is) the bliss.| والذين - And for those who| لم - (did) not| يستجيبوا - respond| له - to Him,| لو - if| أن - that| لهم - they had| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth| جميعا - all| ومثله - and like of it| معه - with it,| لافتدوا - surely they would offer ransom| به - with it.| أولئك - Those| لهم - for them| سوء - (is) a terrible| الحساب - reckoning,| ومأواهم - and their abode| جهنم - (is) Hell,| وبئس - and wretched| المهاد - (is) the resting place.| | ||||||
| 3 [23:76] | Walaqad akhathnahum bialAAathabifama istakanoo lirabbihim wama yatadarraAAoona | ولقد أخذناهم بالعذاب فما استكانوا لربهم وما يتضرعون وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily| أخذناهم - We seized them| بالعذاب - with the punishment| فما - but not| استكانوا - they submit| لربهم - to their Lord| وما - and not| يتضرعون - they supplicate humbly| | ||||||
| 4 [25:64] | Waallatheena yabeetoonalirabbihim sujjadan waqiyaman | والذين يبيتون لربهم سجدا وقياما وَالَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَامًا | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يبيتون - spend (the) night| لربهم - before their Lord,| سجدا - prostrating| وقياما - and standing.| | ||||||
| 5 [42:38] | Waallatheena istajaboolirabbihim waaqamoo alssalatawaamruhum shoora baynahum wamimma razaqnahumyunfiqoona | والذين استجابوا لربهم وأقاموا الصلاة وأمرهم شورى بينهم ومما رزقناهم ينفقون وَالَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَى بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| استجابوا - respond| لربهم - to their Lord| وأقاموا - and establish| الصلاة - prayer| وأمرهم - and their affairs| شورى - (are conducted by) consultation| بينهم - among them,| ومما - and from what| رزقناهم - We have provided them| ينفقون - they spend,| | ||||||
