| 1 [6:145] | Qul la ajidu feema oohiyailayya muharraman AAala taAAimin yatAAamuhuilla an yakoona maytatan aw daman masfoohan aw lahmakhinzeerin fa-innahu rijsun aw fisqan ohilla lighayri Allahibihi famani idturra ghayra baghin wala AAadinfa-inna rabbaka ghafoorun raheemun |  قل لا أجد في ما أوحي إلي محرما على طاعم يطعمه إلا أن يكون ميتة أو دما مسفوحا أو لحم خنزير فإنه رجس أو فسقا أهل لغير الله به فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فإن ربك غفور رحيمقُل لاَّ أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَى طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلاَّ أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنْـزِيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ أَوْ فِسْقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أجد - (do) I find| في - in| ما - what| أوحي - has been revealed| إلي - to me| محرما - (anything) forbidden| على - to| طاعم - an eater| يطعمه - who eats it| إلا - except| أن - that| يكون - it be| ميتة - dead| أو - or| دما - blood| مسفوحا - poured forth| أو - or| لحم - (the) flesh| خنزير - (of) swine -| فإنه - for indeed, it| رجس - (is) filth -| أو - or| فسقا - (it be) disobedience,| أهل - [is] dedicated| لغير - to other than| الله - Allah| به - [on it].| فمن - But whoever| اضطر - (is) compelled| غير - not| باغ - desiring| ولا - and not| عاد - transgressing,| فإن - then indeed,| ربك - your Lord| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful."| | ||||||
| 2 [49:12] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooijtaniboo katheeran mina alththanni innabaAAda alththanni ithmun walatajassasoo wala yaghtab baAAdukum baAAdanayuhibbu ahadukum an ya/kula lahma akheehimaytan fakarihtumoohu waittaqoo Allaha inna Allahatawwabun raheemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اجتنبوا كثيرا من الظن إن بعض الظن إثم ولا تجسسوا ولا يغتب بعضكم بعضا أيحب أحدكم أن يأكل لحم أخيه ميتا فكرهتموه واتقوا الله إن الله تواب رحيم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| اجتنبوا - Avoid| كثيرا - much| من - of| الظن - the assumption.| إن - Indeed,| بعض - some| الظن - assumption| إثم - (is) sin.| ولا - And (do) not| تجسسوا - spy| ولا - and (do) not| يغتب - backbite| بعضكم - some of you| بعضا - (to) others.| أيحب - Would like| أحدكم - one of you| أن - to| يأكل - eat| لحم - (the) flesh| أخيه - (of) his brother,| ميتا - dead?| فكرهتموه - Nay, you would hate it.| واتقوا - And fear Allah;| الله - And fear Allah;| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| تواب - (is) Oft-Returning,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
