| 1 [17:12] | WajaAAalna allayla waalnnaharaayatayni famahawna ayata allayliwajaAAalna ayata alnnahari mubsiratanlitabtaghoo fadlan min rabbikum walitaAAlamoo AAadada alssineenawaalhisaba wakulla shay-in fassalnahutafseelan |  وجعلنا الليل والنهار آيتين فمحونا آية الليل وجعلنا آية النهار مبصرة لتبتغوا فضلا من ربكم ولتعلموا عدد السنين والحساب وكل شيء فصلناه تفصيلاوَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ آيَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَا آيَةَ اللَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَا آيَةَ النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِّتَبْتَغُواْ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ تَفْصِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |وجعلنا - And We have made| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day| آيتين - (as) two signs.| فمحونا - Then We erased| آية - (the) sign| الليل - (of) the night,| وجعلنا - and We made| آية - (the) sign| النهار - (of) the day| مبصرة - visible,| لتبتغوا - that you may seek| فضلا - bounty| من - from| ربكم - your Lord,| ولتعلموا - and that you may know| عدد - (the) number| السنين - (of) the years,| والحساب - and the account.| وكل - And every| شيء - thing -| فصلناه - We have explained it| تفصيلا - (in) detail.| | ||||||
| 2 [17:66] | Rabbukumu allathee yuzjee lakumualfulka fee albahri litabtaghoo min fadlihi innahukana bikum raheeman | ربكم الذي يزجي لكم الفلك في البحر لتبتغوا من فضله إنه كان بكم رحيما رَّبُّكُمُ الَّذِي يُزْجِي لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ فِي الْبَحْرِ لِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ربكم - Your Lord| الذي - (is) the One Who| يزجي - drives| لكم - for you| الفلك - the ship| في - in| البحر - the sea,| لتبتغوا - that you may seek| من - of| فضله - His Bounty.| إنه - Indeed, He| كان - is| بكم - to you| رحيما - Ever Merciful.| | ||||||
| 3 [24:33] | WalyastaAAfifi allatheena layajidoona nikahan hatta yughniyahumu Allahumin fadlihi waallatheena yabtaghoona alkitabamimma malakat aymanukum fakatiboohum inAAalimtum feehim khayran waatoohum min mali Allahiallathee atakum wala tukrihoo fatayatikumAAala albigha-i in aradna tahassunanlitabtaghoo AAarada alhayati alddunyawaman yukrihhunna fa-inna Allaha min baAAdi ikrahihinnaghafoorun raheemun | وليستعفف الذين لا يجدون نكاحا حتى يغنيهم الله من فضله والذين يبتغون الكتاب مما ملكت أيمانكم فكاتبوهم إن علمتم فيهم خيرا وآتوهم من مال الله الذي آتاكم ولا تكرهوا فتياتكم على البغاء إن أردن تحصنا لتبتغوا عرض الحياة الدنيا ومن يكرههن فإن الله من بعد إكراههن غفور رحيم وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّى يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَالَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا وَآتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِّتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَن يُكْرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِن بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وليستعفف - And let be chaste| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يجدون - find| نكاحا - (means for) marriage| حتى - until| يغنيهم - Allah enriches them| الله - Allah enriches them| من - from| فضله - His Bounty.| والذين - And those who| يبتغون - seek| الكتاب - the writing| مما - from (those) whom| ملكت - possess| أيمانكم - your right hands,| فكاتبوهم - then give them (the) writing| إن - if| علمتم - you know| فيهم - in them| خيرا - any good| وآتوهم - and give them| من - from| مال - the wealth of Allah| الله - the wealth of Allah| الذي - which| آتاكم - He has given you.| ولا - And (do) not| تكرهوا - compel| فتياتكم - your slave girls| على - to| البغاء - [the] prostitution,| إن - if| أردن - they desire| تحصنا - chastity| لتبتغوا - that you may seek| عرض - temporary gain| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ومن - And whoever| يكرههن - compels them,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| من - after| بعد - after| إكراههن - their compulsion| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 4 [35:12] | Wama yastawee albahranihatha AAathbun furatun sa-ighun sharabuhuwahatha milhun ojajun wamin kullinta/kuloona lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoona hilyatantalbasoonaha watara alfulka feehi mawakhiralitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | وما يستوي البحران هذا عذب فرات سائغ شرابه وهذا ملح أجاج ومن كل تأكلون لحما طريا وتستخرجون حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك فيه مواخر لتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَمِن كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| يستوي - are alike| البحران - the two seas.| هذا - This| عذب - (is) fresh,| فرات - sweet,| سائغ - pleasant| شرابه - its drink,| وهذا - and this| ملح - salty| أجاج - (and) bitter.| ومن - And from| كل - each| تأكلون - you eat| لحما - meat| طريا - fresh| وتستخرجون - and you extract| حلية - ornaments| تلبسونها - you wear them,| وترى - and you see| الفلك - the ships| فيه - in it,| مواخر - cleaving,| لتبتغوا - so that you may seek| من - of| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
