| 1 [3:156] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kaallatheena kafaroo waqalooli-ikhwanihim itha daraboo fee al-ardiaw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana mamatoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalikahasratan fee quloobihim waAllahu yuhyeewayumeetu waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين كفروا وقالوا لإخوانهم إذا ضربوا في الأرض أو كانوا غزى لو كانوا عندنا ما ماتوا وما قتلوا ليجعل الله ذلك حسرة في قلوبهم والله يحيي ويميت والله بما تعملون بصيريَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُواْ غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُواْ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُواْ وَمَا قُتِلُواْ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - (Do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| كفروا - disbelieved| وقالوا - and they said| لإخوانهم - about their brothers| إذا - when| ضربوا - they traveled| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أو - or| كانوا - they were| غزى - fighting,| لو - "If| كانوا - they had been| عندنا - with us,| ما - not| ماتوا - they (would have) died| وما - and not| قتلوا - they (would have) been killed."| ليجعل - So makes| الله - Allah| ذلك - that| حسرة - a regret| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| والله - And Allah| يحيي - gives life| ويميت - and causes death,| والله - and Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:168] | Allatheena qaloo li-ikhwanihimwaqaAAadoo law ataAAoona ma qutiloo qul faidraooAAan anfusikumu almawta in kuntum sadiqeena | الذين قالوا لإخوانهم وقعدوا لو أطاعونا ما قتلوا قل فادرءوا عن أنفسكم الموت إن كنتم صادقين الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُواْ لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا قُلْ فَادْرَؤُوا عَنْ أَنفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قالوا - said| لإخوانهم - about their brothers| وقعدوا - while they sat,| لو - "If| أطاعونا - they (had) obeyed us| ما - not| قتلوا - they would have been killed."| قل - Say,| فادرءوا - "Then avert| عن - from| أنفسكم - yourselves| الموت - [the] death| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 3 [33:18] | Qad yaAAlamu Allahu almuAAawwiqeenaminkum waalqa-ileena li-ikhwanihim halummailayna wala ya/toona alba/sa illa qaleelan | قد يعلم الله المعوقين منكم والقائلين لإخوانهم هلم إلينا ولا يأتون البأس إلا قليلا قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |قد - Verily,| يعلم - Allah knows| الله - Allah knows| المعوقين - those who hinder| منكم - among you| والقائلين - and those who say| لإخوانهم - to their brothers,| هلم - "Come| إلينا - to us,"| ولا - and not| يأتون - they come| البأس - (to) the battle| إلا - except| قليلا - a few,| | ||||||
| 4 [59:11] | Alam tara ila allatheena nafaqooyaqooloona li-ikhwanihimu allatheena kafaroo minahli alkitabi la-in okhrijtum lanakhrujanna maAAakum walanuteeAAu feekum ahadan abadan wa-in qootiltum lanansurannakumwaAllahu yashhadu innahum lakathiboona | ألم تر إلى الذين نافقوا يقولون لإخوانهم الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب لئن أخرجتم لنخرجن معكم ولا نطيع فيكم أحدا أبدا وإن قوتلتم لننصرنكم والله يشهد إنهم لكاذبون أَلَمْ تَر إِلَى الَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا يَقُولُونَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَئِنْ أُخْرِجْتُمْ لَنَخْرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمْ وَلَا نُطِيعُ فِيكُمْ أَحَدًا أَبَدًا وَإِن قُوتِلْتُمْ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [to]| الذين - those who| نافقوا - (were) hypocrites,| يقولون - saying| لإخوانهم - to their brothers,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| من - among| أهل - the People| الكتاب - (of) the Scripture,| لئن - "If| أخرجتم - you are expelled,| لنخرجن - surely we will leave| معكم - with you,| ولا - and not| نطيع - we will obey| فيكم - concerning you| أحدا - anyone,| أبدا - ever;| وإن - and if| قوتلتم - you are fought,| لننصرنكم - certainly we will help you."| والله - And Allah| يشهد - bears witness| إنهم - that they| لكاذبون - (are) surely liars.| | ||||||
