| 1 [7:133] | Faarsalna AAalayhimu alttoofanawaaljarada waalqummala waalddafadiAAawaalddama ayatin mufassalatinfaistakbaroo wakanoo qawman mujrimeena |  فأرسلنا عليهم الطوفان والجراد والقمل والضفادع والدم آيات مفصلات فاستكبروا وكانوا قوما مجرمينفَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَاتٍ مُّفَصَّلاَتٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأرسلنا - So We sent| عليهم - on them| الطوفان - the flood| والجراد - and the locusts| والقمل - and the lice| والضفادع - and the frogs| والدم - and the blood| آيات - (as) signs| مفصلات - manifest,| فاستكبروا - but they showed arrogance| وكانوا - and they were| قوما - a people,| مجرمين - criminal.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:75] | Thumma baAAathna min baAAdihim moosawaharoona ila firAAawna wamala-ihi bi-ayatinafaistakbaroo wakanoo qawman mujrimeena | ثم بعثنا من بعدهم موسى وهارون إلى فرعون وملئه بآياتنا فاستكبروا وكانوا قوما مجرمين ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَى وَهَارُونَ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ بِآيَاتِنَا فَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| بعثنا - We sent| من - after them| بعدهم - after them| موسى - Musa| وهارون - and Harun| إلى - to| فرعون - Firaun| وملئه - and his chiefs| بآياتنا - with Our Signs,| فاستكبروا - but they were arrogant| وكانوا - and were| قوما - a people| مجرمين - criminal.| | ||||||
| 3 [23:46] | Ila firAAawna wamala-ihi faistakbaroowakanoo qawman AAaleena | إلى فرعون وملئه فاستكبروا وكانوا قوما عالين إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلاَئِهِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا عَالِينَ | |||||

| 4 [29:39] | Waqaroona wafirAAawna wahamanawalaqad jaahum moosa bialbayyinati faistakbaroofee al-ardi wama kanoo sabiqeena | وقارون وفرعون وهامان ولقد جاءهم موسى بالبينات فاستكبروا في الأرض وما كانوا سابقين وَقَارُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مُّوسَى بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا سَابِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقارون - And Qarun,| وفرعون - and Firaun| وهامان - and Haman.| ولقد - And certainly| جاءهم - came to them| موسى - Musa| بالبينات - with clear evidences,| فاستكبروا - but they were arrogant| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| وما - and not| كانوا - they could| سابقين - outstrip Us.| | ||||||
| 5 [41:15] | Faamma AAadun faistakbaroofee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi waqaloo manashaddu minna quwwatan awa lam yaraw anna Allahaallathee khalaqahum huwa ashaddu minhum quwwatan wakanoobi-ayatina yajhadoona | فأما عاد فاستكبروا في الأرض بغير الحق وقالوا من أشد منا قوة أولم يروا أن الله الذي خلقهم هو أشد منهم قوة وكانوا بآياتنا يجحدون فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأما - Then as for| عاد - Aad,| فاستكبروا - they were arrogant| في - in| الأرض - the land| بغير - without| الحق - [the] right| وقالوا - and they said,| من - "Who| أشد - (is) mightier| منا - than us| قوة - (in) strength?"| أولم - Do not| يروا - they see| أن - that| الله - Allah,| الذي - the One Who| خلقهم - created them,| هو - He| أشد - (is) Mightier| منهم - than them| قوة - (in) strength?| وكانوا - But they used to,| بآياتنا - in Our Signs,| يجحدون - deny.| | ||||||
