| 1 [9:6] | Wa-in ahadun mina almushrikeena istajarakafaajirhu hatta yasmaAAa kalama Allahithumma ablighhu ma/manahu thalika bi-annahum qawmun layaAAlamoona |  وإن أحد من المشركين استجارك فأجره حتى يسمع كلام الله ثم أبلغه مأمنه ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يعلمونوَإِنْ أَحَدٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ اسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ كَلاَمَ اللّهِ ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| أحد - anyone| من - of| المشركين - the polytheists| استجارك - seek your protection| فأجره - then grant him protection| حتى - until| يسمع - he hears| كلام - (the) Words of Allah.| الله - (the) Words of Allah.| ثم - Then| أبلغه - escort him| مأمنه - (to) his place of safety.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قوم - (are) a people| لا - (who) do not know.| يعلمون - (who) do not know.| | ||||||
| 2 [42:40] | Wajazao sayyi-atin sayyi-atun mithluhafaman AAafa waaslaha faajruhu AAalaAllahi innahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena | وجزاء سيئة سيئة مثلها فمن عفا وأصلح فأجره على الله إنه لا يحب الظالمين وَجَزَاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثْلُهَا فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وجزاء - (The) recompense| سيئة - (of) an evil| سيئة - (is) an evil| مثلها - like it.| فمن - But whoever| عفا - pardons| وأصلح - and makes reconciliation,| فأجره - then his reward| على - (is) on| الله - Allah.| إنه - Indeed, He| لا - (does) not| يحب - like| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
