| 1 [7:129] | Qaloo ootheena minqabli an ta/tiyana wamin baAAdi ma ji/tana qalaAAasa rabbukum an yuhlika AAaduwwakum wayastakhlifakum feeal-ardi fayanthura kayfa taAAmaloona |  قالوا أوذينا من قبل أن تأتينا ومن بعد ما جئتنا قال عسى ربكم أن يهلك عدوكم ويستخلفكم في الأرض فينظر كيف تعملونقَالُواْ أُوذِينَا مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَأْتِيَنَا وَمِن بَعْدِ مَا جِئْتَنَا قَالَ عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| أوذينا - "We have been harmed| من - from| قبل - before| أن - [that]| تأتينا - you came to us| ومن - from| بعد - and after| ما - [what]| جئتنا - you have come to us."| قال - He said,| عسى - "Perhaps| ربكم - your Lord| أن - [that]| يهلك - will destroy| عدوكم - your enemy| ويستخلفكم - and make you successors| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| فينظر - then see| كيف - how| تعملون - you will do."| | ||||||
| 2 [20:80] | Ya banee isra-eela qad anjaynakummin AAaduwwikum wawaAAadnakum janiba alttoorial-aymana wanazzalna AAalaykumu almanna waalssalwa | يا بني إسرائيل قد أنجيناكم من عدوكم وواعدناكم جانب الطور الأيمن ونزلنا عليكم المن والسلوى يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ أَنْجَيْنَاكُم مِّنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ وَوَاعَدْنَاكُمْ جَانِبَ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنَ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَى | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| بني - O Children of Israel!| إسرائيل - O Children of Israel!| قد - Verily,| أنجيناكم - We delivered you| من - from| عدوكم - your enemy,| وواعدناكم - and We made a covenant with you| جانب - on (the) side| الطور - (of) the Mount| الأيمن - the right,| ونزلنا - and We sent down| عليكم - to you| المن - the Manna| والسلوى - and the quails.| | ||||||
