| 1 [17:2] | Waatayna moosa alkitabawajaAAalnahu hudan libanee isra-eela allatattakhithoo min doonee wakeelan |  وآتينا موسى الكتاب وجعلناه هدى لبني إسرائيل ألا تتخذوا من دوني وكيلاوَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَلاَّ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِن دُونِي وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |وآتينا - And We gave| موسى - Musa| الكتاب - the Book,| وجعلناه - and made it| هدى - a guidance| لبني - for the Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel,| ألا - "That not| تتخذوا - you take| من - other than Me| دوني - other than Me| وكيلا - (as) a Disposer of affairs."| | ||||||
| 2 [18:50] | Wa-ith qulna lilmala-ikatiosjudoo li-adama fasajadoo illa ibleesa kanamina aljinni fafasaqa AAan amri rabbihi afatattakhithoonahuwathurriyyatahu awliyaa min doonee wahum lakumAAaduwwun bi/sa lilththalimeena badalan | وإذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس كان من الجن ففسق عن أمر ربه أفتتخذونه وذريته أولياء من دوني وهم لكم عدو بئس للظالمين بدلا وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِ أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِي وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ بِئْسَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ بَدَلاً | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قلنا - We said| للملائكة - to the Angels,| اسجدوا - "Prostrate| لآدم - to Adam,"| فسجدوا - so they prostrated| إلا - except| إبليس - Iblis.| كان - (He) was| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| ففسق - and he rebelled| عن - against| أمر - the Command| ربه - (of) his Lord.| أفتتخذونه - Will you then take him| وذريته - and his offspring| أولياء - (as) protectors| من - other than Me,| دوني - other than Me,| وهم - while they| لكم - (are) to you| عدو - enemies?| بئس - Wretched| للظالمين - for the wrongdoers| بدلا - (is) the exchange.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:102] | Afahasiba allatheena kafarooan yattakhithoo AAibadee min doonee awliyaainna aAAtadna jahannama lilkafireena nuzulan | أفحسب الذين كفروا أن يتخذوا عبادي من دوني أولياء إنا أعتدنا جهنم للكافرين نزلا أَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَن يَتَّخِذُوا عِبَادِي مِن دُونِي أَوْلِيَاءَ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نُزُلاً | |||||
