| 1 [18:22] | Sayaqooloona thalathatun rabiAAuhumkalbuhum wayaqooloona khamsatun sadisuhum kalbuhum rajmanbialghaybi wayaqooloona sabAAatun wathaminuhumkalbuhum qul rabbee aAAlamu biAAiddatihim ma yaAAlamuhumilla qaleelun fala tumari feehim illamiraan thahiran wala tastaftifeehim minhum ahadan |  سيقولون ثلاثة رابعهم كلبهم ويقولون خمسة سادسهم كلبهم رجما بالغيب ويقولون سبعة وثامنهم كلبهم قل ربي أعلم بعدتهم ما يعلمهم إلا قليل فلا تمار فيهم إلا مراء ظاهرا ولا تستفت فيهم منهم أحداسَيَقُولُونَ ثَلاَثَةٌ رَّابِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ خَمْسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْمًا بِالْغَيْبِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَبْعَةٌ وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ فَلاَ تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلاَّ مِرَاءً ظَاهِرًا وَلاَ تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |سيقولون - They say,| ثلاثة - (they were) three,| رابعهم - the forth of them| كلبهم - their dog;| ويقولون - and they say| خمسة - (they were) five| سادسهم - the sixth of them| كلبهم - their dog -| رجما - guessing| بالغيب - about the unseen;| ويقولون - and they say,| سبعة - (they were) seven| وثامنهم - and the eight of them| كلبهم - their dog.| قل - Say,| ربي - "My Lord,| أعلم - knows best| بعدتهم - their number.| ما - None| يعلمهم - knows them| إلا - except| قليل - a few.| فلا - So (do) not| تمار - argue| فيهم - about them| إلا - except| مراء - (with) an argument| ظاهرا - obvious,| ولا - and (do) not| تستفت - inquire| فيهم - about them| منهم - among them| أحدا - (from) anyone."| | ||||||
| 2 [58:7] | Alam tara anna Allaha yaAAlamu mafee alssamawati wama fee al-ardima yakoonu min najwa thalathatin illahuwa rabiAAuhum wala khamsatin illa huwa sadisuhumwala adna min thalika wala aktharailla huwa maAAahum ayna ma kanoo thummayunabbi-ohum bima AAamiloo yawma alqiyamati innaAllaha bikulli shay-in AAaleemun | ألم تر أن الله يعلم ما في السماوات وما في الأرض ما يكون من نجوى ثلاثة إلا هو رابعهم ولا خمسة إلا هو سادسهم ولا أدنى من ذلك ولا أكثر إلا هو معهم أين ما كانوا ثم ينبئهم بما عملوا يوم القيامة إن الله بكل شيء عليم أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا يَكُونُ مِن نَّجْوَى ثَلَاثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ وَلَا أَدْنَى مِن ذَلِكَ وَلَا أَكْثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كَانُوا ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| أن - that| الله - Allah| يعلم - knows| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth?| ما - Not| يكون - there is| من - any| نجوى - secret counsel| ثلاثة - (of) three| إلا - but| هو - He (is)| رابعهم - (the) fourth of them,| ولا - and not| خمسة - five| إلا - but| هو - He (is)| سادسهم - (the) sixth of them,| ولا - and not| أدنى - less| من - than| ذلك - that| ولا - and not| أكثر - more| إلا - but| هو - He| معهم - (is) with them| أين - wherever| ما - wherever| كانوا - they are.| ثم - Then| ينبئهم - He will inform them| بما - of what| عملوا - they did| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| | ||||||
