| 1 [3:120] | In tamsaskum hasanatun tasu/humwa-in tusibkum sayyi-atun yafrahoo bihawa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukumkayduhum shay-an inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun |  إن تمسسكم حسنة تسؤهم وإن تصبكم سيئة يفرحوا بها وإن تصبروا وتتقوا لا يضركم كيدهم شيئا إن الله بما يعملون محيطإِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُواْ بِهَا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| تمسسكم - touches you| حسنة - a good,| تسؤهم - it grieves them| وإن - and if| تصبكم - strikes you| سيئة - misfortune,| يفرحوا - they rejoice| بها - at it.| وإن - And if| تصبروا - you are patient| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah),| لا - not| يضركم - will harm you| كيدهم - their plot| شيئا - (in) anything.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah,| بما - of what| يعملون - they do| محيط - (is) All-Encompassing.| | ||||||
| 2 [9:50] | In tusibka hasanatun tasu/humwa-in tusibka museebatun yaqooloo qad akhathnaamrana min qablu wayatawallaw wahum farihoona | إن تصبك حسنة تسؤهم وإن تصبك مصيبة يقولوا قد أخذنا أمرنا من قبل ويتولوا وهم فرحون إِن تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكَ مُصِيبَةٌ يَقُولُواْ قَدْ أَخَذْنَا أَمْرَنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُمْ فَرِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| تصبك - befalls you| حسنة - good,| تسؤهم - it distresses them,| وإن - but if| تصبك - befalls you| مصيبة - a calamity| يقولوا - they say,| قد - "Verily,| أخذنا - we took| أمرنا - our matter| من - before."| قبل - before."| ويتولوا - And they turn away| وهم - while they| فرحون - (are) rejoicing.| | ||||||
