| 1 [2:133] | Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadarayaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi mataAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahakawa-ilaha aba-ika ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahumuslimoona |  أم كنتم شهداء إذ حضر يعقوب الموت إذ قال لبنيه ما تعبدون من بعدي قالوا نعبد إلهك وإله آبائك إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق إلها واحدا ونحن له مسلمونأَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُواْ نَعْبُدُ إِلَـهَكَ وَإِلَـهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ إِلَـهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| كنتم - were you| شهداء - witnesses| إذ - when| حضر - came to| يعقوب - Yaqub| الموت - [the] death,| إذ - when| قال - he said| لبنيه - to his sons,| ما - "What| تعبدون - will you worship| من - from| بعدي - after me?"| قالوا - They said,| نعبد - "We will worship| إلهك - your God| وإله - and (the) God| آبائك - (of) your forefathers,| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| وإسحاق - and Isaac -| إلها - God| واحدا - One.| ونحن - And we| له - to Him| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:150] | Walamma rajaAAa moosa ilaqawmihi ghadbana asifan qala bi/samakhalaftumoonee min baAAdee aAAajiltum amra rabbikum waalqa al-alwahawaakhatha bira/si akheehi yajurruhu ilayhi qalaibna omma inna alqawma istadAAafoonee wakadooyaqtuloonanee fala tushmit biya al-aAAdaa walatajAAalnee maAAa alqawmi alththalimeena | ولما رجع موسى إلى قومه غضبان أسفا قال بئسما خلفتموني من بعدي أعجلتم أمر ربكم وألقى الألواح وأخذ برأس أخيه يجره إليه قال ابن أم إن القوم استضعفوني وكادوا يقتلونني فلا تشمت بي الأعداء ولا تجعلني مع القوم الظالمين وَلَمَّا رَجَعَ مُوسَى إِلَى قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفًا قَالَ بِئْسَمَا خَلَفْتُمُونِي مِن بَعْدِيَ أَعَجِلْتُمْ أَمْرَ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ وَأَخَذَ بِرَأْسِ أَخِيهِ يَجُرُّهُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ ابْنَ أُمَّ إِنَّ الْقَوْمَ اسْتَضْعَفُونِي وَكَادُواْ يَقْتُلُونَنِي فَلاَ تُشْمِتْ بِيَ الْأَعْدَاءَ وَلاَ تَجْعَلْنِي مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| رجع - returned| موسى - Musa| إلى - to| قومه - his people -| غضبان - angry,| أسفا - and grieved,| قال - he said,| بئسما - "Evil is what| خلفتموني - you have done in my place| من - from| بعدي - after me.| أعجلتم - Were you impatient| أمر - (over the) matter| ربكم - (of) your Lord?"| وألقى - And he cast down| الألواح - the tablets| وأخذ - and seized| برأس - by head,| أخيه - his brother| يجره - dragging him| إليه - to himself.| قال - He said,| ابن - "O son| أم - (of) my mother!| إن - Indeed,| القوم - the people| استضعفوني - considered me weak| وكادوا - and were about to| يقتلونني - kill me.| فلا - So (let) not| تشمت - rejoice| بي - over me| الأعداء - the enemies,| ولا - and (do) not| تجعلني - place me| مع - with| القوم - the people| الظالمين - (who are) wrongdoing.| | ||||||
| 3 [38:35] | Qala rabbi ighfir lee wahab leemulkan la yanbaghee li-ahadin min baAAdee innakaanta alwahhabu | قال رب اغفر لي وهب لي ملكا لا ينبغي لأحد من بعدي إنك أنت الوهاب قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّنْ بَعْدِي إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| لي - me| وهب - and grant| لي - me| ملكا - a kingdom,| لا - not| ينبغي - (will) belong| لأحد - to anyone| من - after me.| بعدي - after me.| إنك - Indeed, You| أنت - [You]| الوهاب - (are) the Bestower."| | ||||||
| 4 [61:6] | Wa-ith qala AAeesa ibnumaryama ya banee isra-eela innee rasoolu Allahiilaykum musaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawratiwamubashshiran birasoolin ya/tee min baAAdee ismuhu ahmadufalamma jaahum bialbayyinati qaloohatha sihrun mubeenun | وإذ قال عيسى ابن مريم يا بني إسرائيل إني رسول الله إليكم مصدقا لما بين يدي من التوراة ومبشرا برسول يأتي من بعدي اسمه أحمد فلما جاءهم بالبينات قالوا هذا سحر مبين وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِن بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| يا - O| بني - "O Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel!| إني - Indeed, I am| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| إليكم - to you,| مصدقا - confirming| لما - that which| بين - (was) between| يدي - my hands| من - of| التوراة - the Taurat| ومبشرا - and bringing glad tidings| برسول - (of) a Messenger| يأتي - to come| من - from| بعدي - after me,| اسمه - whose name (will be)| أحمد - Ahmad."| فلما - But when| جاءهم - he came to them| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| قالوا - they said,| هذا - "This| سحر - (is) a magic| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
