| 1 [2:113] | Waqalati alyahoodu laysati alnnasaraAAala shay-in waqalati alnnasaralaysati alyahoodu AAala shay-in wahum yatloona alkitabakathalika qala allatheena layaAAlamoona mithla qawlihim faAllahu yahkumubaynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehiyakhtalifoona |  وقالت اليهود ليست النصارى على شيء وقالت النصارى ليست اليهود على شيء وهم يتلون الكتاب كذلك قال الذين لا يعلمون مثل قولهم فالله يحكم بينهم يوم القيامة فيما كانوا فيه يختلفونوَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ لَيْسَتِ النَّصَارَى عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى لَيْسَتِ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَهُمْ يَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ كَذَلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ فَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| اليهود - the Jews,| ليست - "Not| النصارى - the Christians| على - (are) on| شيء - anything,"| وقالت - and said| النصارى - the Christians,| ليست - "Not| اليهود - the Jews| على - (are) on| شيء - anything,"| وهم - although they| يتلون - recite| الكتاب - the Book.| كذلك - Like that| قال - said| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know,| مثل - similar| قولهم - their saying.| فالله - [So] Allah| يحكم - will judge| بينهم - between them| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection| فيما - in what| كانوا - they were| فيه - [in it]| يختلفون - differing.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:120] | Walan tarda AAanka alyahoodu walaalnnasara hatta tattabiAAamillatahum qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhudawala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda allathee jaakamina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin walanaseerin | ولن ترضى عنك اليهود ولا النصارى حتى تتبع ملتهم قل إن هدى الله هو الهدى ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم بعد الذي جاءك من العلم ما لك من الله من ولي ولا نصير وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولن - And never| ترضى - will be pleased| عنك - with you| اليهود - the Jews| ولا - and [not]| النصارى - the Christians| حتى - until| تتبع - you follow| ملتهم - their religion.| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| هدى - (the) Guidance| الله - (of) Allah,| هو - it| الهدى - (is) the Guidance."| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you follow| أهواءهم - their desires| بعد - after| الذي - what| جاءك - has come to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| ما - not| لك - for you| من - from| الله - Allah| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - any helper.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:18] | Waqalati alyahoodu waalnnasaranahnu abnao Allahi waahibbaohuqul falima yuAAaththibukum bithunoobikum bal antumbasharun mimman khalaqa yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibuman yashao walillahi mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi wama baynahuma wa-ilayhialmaseeru | وقالت اليهود والنصارى نحن أبناء الله وأحباؤه قل فلم يعذبكم بذنوبكم بل أنتم بشر ممن خلق يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء ولله ملك السماوات والأرض وما بينهما وإليه المصير وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاءُ اللّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُهُ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said,| اليهود - the Jews| والنصارى - and the Christians| نحن - "We (are)| أبناء - (the) children| الله - (of) Allah| وأحباؤه - and His beloved."| قل - Say,| فلم - "Then why| يعذبكم - (does He) punish you| بذنوبكم - for your sins?"| بل - Nay,| أنتم - you (are)| بشر - human beings| ممن - from among (those)| خلق - He created.| يغفر - He forgives| لمن - [for] whom| يشاء - He wills| ويعذب - and punishes| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| ولله - And for Allah| ملك - (is the) dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وما - and whatever| بينهما - (is) between them,| وإليه - and to Him| المصير - (is) the final return.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:51] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo alyahooda waalnnasaraawliyaa baAAduhum awliyao baAAdinwaman yatawallahum minkum fa-innahu minhum inna Allaha layahdee alqawma alththalimeena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا اليهود والنصارى أولياء بعضهم أولياء بعض ومن يتولهم منكم فإنه منهم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تتخذوا - take| اليهود - the Jews| والنصارى - and the Christians| أولياء - (as) allies.| بعضهم - Some of them| أولياء - (are) allies| بعض - (to) others.| ومن - And whoever| يتولهم - takes them as allies| منكم - among you,| فإنه - then indeed, he| منهم - (is) of them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people,| الظالمين - the wrongdoing.| | ||||||
| 5 [5:64] | Waqalati alyahoodu yadu Allahimaghloolatun ghullat aydeehim waluAAinoo bima qaloobal yadahu mabsootatani yunfiqu kayfa yashaowalayazeedanna katheeran minhum ma onzila ilayka minrabbika tughyanan wakufran waalqaynabaynahumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaa ilayawmi alqiyamati kullama awqadoo naran lilharbiatfaaha Allahu wayasAAawna fee al-ardifasadan waAllahu la yuhibbualmufsideena | وقالت اليهود يد الله مغلولة غلت أيديهم ولعنوا بما قالوا بل يداه مبسوطتان ينفق كيف يشاء وليزيدن كثيرا منهم ما أنزل إليك من ربك طغيانا وكفرا وألقينا بينهم العداوة والبغضاء إلى يوم القيامة كلما أوقدوا نارا للحرب أطفأها الله ويسعون في الأرض فسادا والله لا يحب المفسدين وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ يَدُ اللّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُواْ بِمَا قَالُواْ بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُواْ نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللّهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| اليهود - the Jews,| يد - "The Hand| الله - (of) Allah| مغلولة - (is) chained."| غلت - Are chained| أيديهم - their hands,| ولعنوا - and they have been cursed| بما - for what| قالوا - they said.| بل - Nay,| يداه - His Hands| مبسوطتان - (are) stretched out| ينفق - He spends| كيف - how| يشاء - He wills.| وليزيدن - And surely increase| كثيرا - many| منهم - of them,| ما - what| أنزل - has been revealed| إليك - to you| من - from| ربك - your Lord,| طغيانا - (in) rebellion| وكفرا - and disbelief.| وألقينا - And We have cast| بينهم - among them| العداوة - [the] enmity| والبغضاء - and [the] hatred| إلى - till| يوم - (the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection.| كلما - Every time| أوقدوا - they kindled| نارا - (the) fire| للحرب - of [the] war,| أطفأها - it (was) extinguished| الله - (by) Allah.| ويسعون - And they strive| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فسادا - spreading corruption.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| المفسدين - the corrupters.| | ||||||
| 6 [5:82] | Latajidanna ashadda alnnasiAAadawatan lillatheena amanoo alyahooda waallatheenaashrakoo walatajidanna aqrabahum mawaddatan lillatheena amanooallatheena qaloo inna nasara thalikabi-anna minhum qisseeseena waruhbanan waannahum layastakbiroona | لتجدن أشد الناس عداوة للذين آمنوا اليهود والذين أشركوا ولتجدن أقربهم مودة للذين آمنوا الذين قالوا إنا نصارى ذلك بأن منهم قسيسين ورهبانا وأنهم لا يستكبرون لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لتجدن - Surely you will find| أشد - strongest| الناس - (of) the people| عداوة - (in) enmity| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe,| اليهود - the Jews| والذين - and those who| أشركوا - (are) polytheists;| ولتجدن - and surely you will find| أقربهم - nearest of them| مودة - (in) affection| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe,| الذين - those who| قالوا - say,| إنا - "We| نصارى - (are) Christians."| ذلك - That (is)| بأن - because| منهم - among them| قسيسين - (are) priests| ورهبانا - and monks,| وأنهم - and that they| لا - (are) not| يستكبرون - arrogant.| | ||||||
| 7 [9:30] | Waqalati alyahoodu AAuzayrun ibnu Allahiwaqalati alnnasara almaseehuibnu Allahi thalika qawluhum bi-afwahihim yudahi-oonaqawla allatheena kafaroo min qablu qatalahumu Allahuanna yu/fakoona | وقالت اليهود عزير ابن الله وقالت النصارى المسيح ابن الله ذلك قولهم بأفواههم يضاهئون قول الذين كفروا من قبل قاتلهم الله أنى يؤفكون وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللّهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ اللّهِ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ يُضَاهِؤُونَ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبْلُ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللّهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| اليهود - the Jews,| عزير - "Uzair| ابن - (is) son| الله - (of) Allah."| وقالت - And said| النصارى - the Christians,| المسيح - "Messiah| ابن - (is) son| الله - (of) Allah."| ذلك - That| قولهم - (is) their saying| بأفواههم - with their mouths,| يضاهئون - they imitate| قول - the saying| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - before.| قبل - before.| قاتلهم - (May) Allah destroy them.| الله - (May) Allah destroy them.| أنى - How| يؤفكون - deluded are they!| | ||||||
