| 1 [4:128] | Wa-ini imraatun khafat min baAAlihanushoozan aw iAAradan fala junaha AAalayhimaan yusliha baynahuma sulhan waalssulhukhayrun waohdirati al-anfusu alshshuhhawa-in tuhsinoo watattaqoo fa-inna Allaha kanabima taAAmaloona khabeeran |  وإن امرأة خافت من بعلها نشوزا أو إعراضا فلا جناح عليهما أن يصلحا بينهما صلحا والصلح خير وأحضرت الأنفس الشح وإن تحسنوا وتتقوا فإن الله كان بما تعملون خبيراوَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلاَ جُنَاْحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ وَأُحْضِرَتِ الْأَنفُسُ الشُّحَّ وَإِن تُحْسِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| امرأة - a woman| خافت - fears| من - from| بعلها - her husband| نشوزا - ill-conduct| أو - or| إعراضا - desertion| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - sin| عليهما - on both of them| أن - that| يصلحا - they make terms of peace| بينهما - between themselves -| صلحا - a reconciliation| والصلح - and [the] reconciliation| خير - (is) best.| وأحضرت - And are swayed| الأنفس - the souls| الشح - (by) greed.| وإن - But if| تحسنوا - you do good| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah),| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبيرا - All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 2 [16:7] | Watahmilu athqalakum ilabaladin lam takoonoo baligheehi illa bishiqqial-anfusi inna rabbakum laraoofun raheemun | وتحمل أثقالكم إلى بلد لم تكونوا بالغيه إلا بشق الأنفس إن ربكم لرءوف رحيم وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَى بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُواْ بَالِغِيهِ إِلاَّ بِشِقِّ الْأَنفُسِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وتحمل - And they carry| أثقالكم - your loads| إلى - to| بلد - a land| لم - not| تكونوا - you could| بالغيه - reach it| إلا - except| بشق - with great trouble| الأنفس - (to) yourselves.| إن - Indeed,| ربكم - your Lord| لرءوف - surely is Most Kind,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 3 [39:42] | Allahu yatawaffa al-anfusa heenamawtiha waallatee lam tamut fee manamihafayumsiku allatee qada AAalayha almawta wayursilual-okhra ila ajalin musamman inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona | الله يتوفى الأنفس حين موتها والتي لم تمت في منامها فيمسك التي قضى عليها الموت ويرسل الأخرى إلى أجل مسمى إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَى عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَى إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| يتوفى - takes| الأنفس - the souls| حين - (at the) time| موتها - (of) their death,| والتي - and the one who| لم - (does) not| تمت - die| في - in| منامها - their sleep.| فيمسك - Then He keeps| التي - the one whom,| قضى - He has decreed| عليها - for them| الموت - the death,| ويرسل - and sends| الأخرى - the others| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - specified.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who ponder.| | ||||||
| 4 [43:71] | Yutafu AAalayhim bisihafinmin thahabin waakwabin wafeeha matashtaheehi al-anfusu watalaththu al-aAAyunu waantum feehakhalidoona | يطاف عليهم بصحاف من ذهب وأكواب وفيها ما تشتهيه الأنفس وتلذ الأعين وأنتم فيها خالدون يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يطاف - Will be circulated| عليهم - for them| بصحاف - plates| من - of| ذهب - gold| وأكواب - and cups.| وفيها - And therein| ما - (is) what| تشتهيه - desires| الأنفس - the souls| وتلذ - and delights| الأعين - the eyes,| وأنتم - and you| فيها - therein| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 5 [53:23] | In hiya illa asmaonsammaytumooha antum waabaokum maanzala Allahu biha min sultanin inyattabiAAoona illa alththanna wamatahwa al-anfusu walaqad jaahum min rabbihimu alhuda | إن هي إلا أسماء سميتموها أنتم وآباؤكم ما أنزل الله بها من سلطان إن يتبعون إلا الظن وما تهوى الأنفس ولقد جاءهم من ربهم الهدى إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدَى | |||||
