| 1 [2:33] | Qala ya adamu anbi/humbi-asma-ihim falamma anbaahum bi-asma-ihim qalaalam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu ghayba alssamawatiwaal-ardi waaAAlamu ma tubdoona wamakuntum taktumoona |  قال يا آدم أنبئهم بأسمائهم فلما أنبأهم بأسمائهم قال ألم أقل لكم إني أعلم غيب السماوات والأرض وأعلم ما تبدون وما كنتم تكتمونقَالَ يَا آدَمُ أَنْبِئْهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ فَلَمَّا أَنبَأَهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| آدم - "O Adam!| أنبئهم - Inform them| بأسمائهم - of their names."| فلما - And when| أنبأهم - he had informed them| بأسمائهم - of their names,| قال - He said,| ألم - "Did not| أقل - I say| لكم - to you,| إني - Indeed, I| أعلم - [I] know| غيب - (the) unseen| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وأعلم - and I know| ما - what| تبدون - you reveal| وما - and what| كنتم - you [were]| تكتمون - conceal."| | ||||||
| 2 [12:96] | Falamma an jaa albasheeru alqahuAAala wajhihi fairtadda baseeran qalaalam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu mina Allahi ma lataAAlamoona | فلما أن جاء البشير ألقاه على وجهه فارتد بصيرا قال ألم أقل لكم إني أعلم من الله ما لا تعلمون فَلَمَّا أَن جَاءَ الْبَشِيرُ أَلْقَاهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فَارْتَدَّ بَصِيرًا قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| أن - [that]| جاء - arrived| البشير - the bearer of glad tidings,| ألقاه - he cast it| على - over| وجهه - his face,| فارتد - then returned (his) sight.| بصيرا - then returned (his) sight.| قال - He said,| ألم - "Did not| أقل - I say| لكم - to you,| إني - indeed, I| أعلم - [I] know| من - from| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| | ||||||
| 3 [18:39] | Walawla ith dakhalta jannatakaqulta ma shaa Allahu la quwwata illabiAllahi in tarani ana aqalla minka malanwawaladan | ولولا إذ دخلت جنتك قلت ما شاء الله لا قوة إلا بالله إن ترن أنا أقل منك مالا وولدا وَلَوْلاَ إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ إِن تَرَنِ أَنَا أَقَلَّ مِنكَ مَالاً وَوَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |ولولا - And why (did you) not,| إذ - when| دخلت - you entered| جنتك - your garden| قلت - say,| ما - "What| شاء - wills| الله - Allah;| لا - (there is) no| قوة - power| إلا - except| بالله - with Allah."| إن - If| ترن - you see me| أنا - (me)| أقل - lesser| منك - than you| مالا - (in) wealth| وولدا - and children,| | ||||||
| 4 [18:72] | Qala alam aqul innaka lan tastateeAAamaAAiya sabran | قال ألم أقل إنك لن تستطيع معي صبرا قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبْرًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| ألم - "Did not| أقل - I say,| إنك - indeed, you| لن - never| تستطيع - will be able| معي - with me| صبرا - (to have) patience?"| | ||||||
