| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:67] | Wa-itha massakumu alddurrufee albahri dalla man tadAAoona illa iyyahufalamma najjakum ila albarri aAAradtumwakana al-insanu kafooran
|  وإذا مسكم الضر في البحر ضل من تدعون إلا إياه فلما نجاكم إلى البر أعرضتم وكان الإنسان كفورا
وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الْضُّرُّ فِي الْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاكُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ أَعْرَضْتُمْ وَكَانَ الْإِنْسَانُ كَفُورًا |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| مسكم - touches you| الضر - the hardship| في - in| البحر - the sea,| ضل - lost| من - (are) who| تدعون - you call| إلا - except| إياه - Him Alone.| فلما - But when| نجاكم - He delivers you| إلى - to| البر - the land| أعرضتم - you turn away.| وكان - And is| الإنسان - man| كفورا - ungrateful.| |
