| 1 [6:152] | Wala taqraboo mala alyateemiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu hattayablugha ashuddahu waawfoo alkayla waalmeezana bialqistila nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha wa-ithaqultum faiAAdiloo walaw kana tha qurbawabiAAahdi Allahi awfoo thalikum wassakumbihi laAAallakum tathakkaroona |  ولا تقربوا مال اليتيم إلا بالتي هي أحسن حتى يبلغ أشده وأوفوا الكيل والميزان بالقسط لا نكلف نفسا إلا وسعها وإذا قلتم فاعدلوا ولو كان ذا قربى وبعهد الله أوفوا ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تذكرونوَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ لاَ نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُواْ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللّهِ أَوْفُواْ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقربوا - go near| مال - wealth| اليتيم - (of) the orphans| إلا - except| بالتي - with that| هي - which| أحسن - (is) best| حتى - until| يبلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity.| وأوفوا - And give full| الكيل - [the] measure| والميزان - and the weight| بالقسط - with justice.| لا - Not| نكلف - We burden| نفسا - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - (to) its capacity.| وإذا - And when| قلتم - you speak| فاعدلوا - then be just| ولو - even if| كان - he is| ذا - (one of).| قربى - a near relative.| وبعهد - And (the) Covenant| الله - (of) Allah| أوفوا - fulfil.| ذلكم - That| وصاكم - (He) has enjoined on you| به - with it| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:22] | Walamma balagha ashuddahu ataynahuhukman waAAilman wakathalika najzee almuhsineena | ولما بلغ أشده آتيناه حكما وعلما وكذلك نجزي المحسنين وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| بلغ - he reached| أشده - his maturity,| آتيناه - We gave him| حكما - wisdom| وعلما - and knowledge.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We reward| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 3 [17:34] | Wala taqraboo mala alyateemiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu hattayablugha ashuddahu waawfoo bialAAahdi inna alAAahda kanamas-oolan | ولا تقربوا مال اليتيم إلا بالتي هي أحسن حتى يبلغ أشده وأوفوا بالعهد إن العهد كان مسئولا وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ بِالْعَهْدِ إِنَّ الْعَهْدَ كَانَ مَسْؤُولاً | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقربوا - come near| مال - (the) wealth| اليتيم - (of) the orphan,| إلا - except| بالتي - with what| هي - [it] is| أحسن - best| حتى - until| يبلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity.| وأوفوا - And fulfil| بالعهد - the covenant.| إن - Indeed,| العهد - the covenant| كان - will be| مسئولا - questioned.| | ||||||
| 4 [28:14] | Walamma balagha ashuddahu waistawaataynahu hukman waAAilman wakathalikanajzee almuhsineena | ولما بلغ أشده واستوى آتيناه حكما وعلما وكذلك نجزي المحسنين وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَاسْتَوَى آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| بلغ - he reached| أشده - his full strength| واستوى - and became mature,| آتيناه - We bestowed upon him| حكما - wisdom| وعلما - and knowledge.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We reward| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 5 [46:15] | Wawassayna al-insanabiwalidayhi ihsanan hamalat-hu ommuhukurhan wawadaAAat-hu kurhan wahamluhu wafisaluhuthalathoona shahran hatta ithabalagha ashuddahu wabalagha arbaAAeena sanatan qala rabbiawziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAalawalidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahuwaaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtuilayka wa-innee mina almuslimeena | ووصينا الإنسان بوالديه إحسانا حملته أمه كرها ووضعته كرها وحمله وفصاله ثلاثون شهرا حتى إذا بلغ أشده وبلغ أربعين سنة قال رب أوزعني أن أشكر نعمتك التي أنعمت علي وعلى والدي وأن أعمل صالحا ترضاه وأصلح لي في ذريتي إني تبت إليك وإني من المسلمين وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَبَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ووصينا - And We have enjoined| الإنسان - (on) man| بوالديه - to his parents| إحسانا - kindness.| حملته - Carried him| أمه - his mother| كرها - (with) hardship| ووضعته - and gave birth to him| كرها - (with) hardship.| وحمله - And (the) bearing of him| وفصاله - and (the) weaning of him| ثلاثون - (is) thirty| شهرا - month(s)| حتى - until,| إذا - when| بلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity| وبلغ - and reaches| أربعين - forty| سنة - year(s),| قال - he says,| رب - "My Lord,| أوزعني - grant me (the) power| أن - that| أشكر - I may be grateful| نعمتك - (for) Your favor| التي - which| أنعمت - You have bestowed| علي - upon me| وعلى - and upon| والدي - my parents| وأن - and that| أعمل - I do| صالحا - righteous (deeds)| ترضاه - which please You,| وأصلح - and make righteous| لي - for me| في - among| ذريتي - my offspring,| إني - indeed,| تبت - I turn| إليك - to You| وإني - and indeed, I am| من - of| المسلمين - those who submit."| | ||||||
