| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:31] | Ittakhathoo ahbarahumwaruhbanahum arbaban min dooni Allahi waalmaseehaibna maryama wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo ilahanwahidan la ilaha illa huwa subhanahuAAamma yushrikoona
|  اتخذوا أحبارهم ورهبانهم أربابا من دون الله والمسيح ابن مريم وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا إلها واحدا لا إله إلا هو سبحانه عما يشركون
اتَّخَذُواْ أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ وَالْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا أُمِرُواْ إِلاَّ لِيَعْبُدُواْ إِلَـهًا وَاحِدًا لاَّ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ سُبْحَانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |
| Words | |اتخذوا - They have taken| أحبارهم - their rabbis| ورهبانهم - and their monks| أربابا - (as) Lords| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| والمسيح - and the Messiah,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam.| وما - And not| أمروا - they were commanded| إلا - except| ليعبدوا - that they worship| إلها - One God.| واحدا - One God.| لا - (There) is no| إله - god| إلا - except| هو - Him.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him| عما - from what| يشركون - they associate (with Him).| |
